Btw chapter 39 is before this. I just messed things up very badly. And it's Joseph's POV.

"Y/n! Y/n!!!"

"Joseph! Shut up! It's like way too early."

You hear a scoff, "it's noon."

"It's what!?" You sit up abruptly and look at your clock in slight panic.

"Joseph... you have three seconds before I kill you."

"Nah it's all good, you wouldn't ever- ouch!" you jump on him before he can finish, both of you falling to the ground. "You've killed me! I'm dead!"

"If you're still talking you're not dead!"

"You don't know that, I could be a ghost!"

"Ghosts don't exist Joseph." He quickly sits up, as if remembering something.

"That's what I wanted to speak to you about."

"About ghosts? Please don't tell me that you think Hermione, Ron, and Harry are ghosts now!" The amount of theories he's had is just-

"Of course not! I'm not bloody insane."

"Joseph I've known you since 6th grade, trust me. You are definitely insane."

We literally met cause you kissed me.

"Why thank you. Now, I'm being serious here. And since your my best friend you have to trust me on this, okay?"

"Okay..." and you did trust him, always, just... one of his crazy ideas being true?

"They're wizards."

"Jo-"

"Look. Two guys appeared, I don't know their names, but they just appeared. And then they disappeared with Ron."

"What?"

"Yeah they were taking him home or something and it was clear they're related. And they were twins. And hot like holy-"

"Joseph."

"Right. Sorry."

"Are you sure that's what you saw, a 100%?"

"Yes, you ha-"

"I believe you." And you did. If it had been anyone else who told you that, you wouldn't have. But it's Joseph, he's the only person that you'll believe anything from.

Once he told you that he had been attacked by a giant slime. It was when you both liked Minecraft, you had trusted him too, which was your mistake. You had been terrified of being attacked from a monster in Minecraft for three months after that.

"Of course. You're my best friend, if you say that happened then I trust you."

And I swear to god if you're lying I will actually kill you.

"Oh thank god. We should stay away from them. They-"

"-might be dangerous?" You finish the sentence for him, he grins.

"Yeah. But I'm sure you could still hook up with Harry."

Of course that's his real priority.

"Joseph! I will never hook up with Harry."
