"I don't know! I didn't do anything, I swear!"

"Harry I'm going to kill you. You made her run away by just walking up there, what happened when you last talked? You're terrible at this."

"Yeah mate. Think she's scared of you."

"I'll go ask her out for you if I have to."

"Please don't."

"She'll probably say yes to Hermione asking her out. If she doesn't know it's actually for Harry."

Hermione giggles, "yeah Harry. Can I take her out on a date?"

"Uhm-"

"Oh yeah that's gotta happen. It'll snap some sense into him too!"

Hermione grins, "what's her address Harry?"

"No way."

"Awe c'mon mate!"

"I'm not-"

"I'll go ask the Dursley's then."

"Hermione! Hermione I swear to god."

"Mr. Dursley!"

Vernon looks scared of her, "uh, yes?"

"Where would y/n be at the moment?"

Dudley speaks up this time, "in the park. She goes there every Saturday at noon until about 2:35. On Sundays from about 2 to 5ish. And on school days from after school to 4 something."

"Thanks..."

Hermione quickly slips out the front door in a run.

"Hermione!"

Harry runs after her, he can hear Ron following.

"'Mione! Hurry before he can get there!"

He gets there right as Hermione walks up to her and Joseph.

"Y/n, right?"

She turns around, "uh hi? You're that pretty girl from yesterday. Your voice is nice." Joseph snorts.

Hermione's grin widens considerably, "yes I am. I want to ask you out on a date."

"Hermione!"

"Uh."

"For Harry."

"What?"

"I'm asking you out for Harry. So if you say yes you're going on a date with Harry."

"I've never. Uhm I'm not... I'm gonna go..."

She starts to walk away, but Joseph grabs her and stops her.

"I'll say yes for Y/n." Joseph offers.

"Alright he'll pick her up at 8."

No I won't...

Hermione gives him a warning look. He huffs.

"Perfect. It's a date." Joseph replies.

"No it's not a-" Joseph throws a hand over her mouth.

"She'll be ready."

"He will be too."

"I really won't though."

Hermione glares again.

"I mean yeah... sounds fun..."

"Mmm mfsh cfosh!"

"Yes you are."

How the hell did he understand that?

"Mm nosh."

"You don't get a choice."

He casually throws her over his shoulder, like a sack of potatoes.

"Joseph! You can't agree to go on a date for me!"

"I just did so obviously I can."

She groans and gives up fighting against him and flops down, sorta just hanging there.

"I hate you."

"You love me."

"I'll stab you."

"How sweet of you."

"You suck."

"Yes I do. Planning on doing that tomorrow night actually."

She chokes, "Joseph!"

Hermione laughs, "oh they seem great Harry. Now let's go teach you how to go on a date."

Ron nods, "yeah mate. We're going on a date!"

"We?"

"Well duh. You can't go on your first date without your friends."
