"Honestly Harry, I'm surprised you stay here. The muggle world sucks. Heck! They have to actually do things and can't just wave a wan-"

"Quiet Ron!"

"Sorry 'Mione... Harry you're welcome to come stay with us if you want. Mum wouldn't mind at all."

"I'd love to, but Dumbledore said that there's this magical charm that protects me from Voldemort-"

"Harry!"

He ignores her, "so the protection only stays if I live with the Dursley's."

"That sucks mate."

"Hey besties!" Joseph and y/n walk up to them. Y/n rolls her eyes at Joseph.

"Oh hey!" Hermione grins and stands up, pulling two new chairs to their table. It's obvious she likes Joseph a lot.

One chair is quite close to Harry. Naturally, Joseph takes the other one, next to Hermione and Ron.

"Do you guys want to hang out later? We got this cool new game." Joseph offers.

"I think I need to go back ho-"

"We'd love to!" Hermione cuts Ron off, sending him a glare.

"Okay. Yeah, we'd love to..."

Harry nods in agreement, feeling that if he said otherwise, Hermione might kill him.

"Awesome. We haven't played it yet, but we read through the rules."

"You read through the rules." Y/n corrects.

"Wowzers she's pretty." Joseph says suddenly, not responding to y/n.

He turns to the door to see Luna Lovegood there.

"Luna? What are you doing here?"

She turns to him, a smile crosses her face and she skips towards them.

"Oh hello Harry. Well I find the muggle world quite fascinating. I thought I'd visit and saw this odd looking building so I came here."

"Muggle?" Y/n asks.

"Odd looking building? This place is great!" Joseph ignores the word 'muggle'.

"It does seem interesting. What is that you're eating."

"Oh it's ice cream! I can buy you some if you want." Y/n offers, standing up.

"Ice cream... it sounds nice."

"What flavor do you want?"

"What do you recommend?"

They walk off towards the counter.

Joseph waves his arms wildly and yells at them, causing a lot of attention to turn his way, "Don't take her advice! She likes vanilla!" He turns back to the golden trio, "Is she high?"

"What!? No!" Hermione responds to him.

"She seems high."

"She does."

"Ronald!" She smacks his arm with a huff, "get another chair. No, that's just how Luna is. She's a bit... odd. Some people at our school call her Loony Lovegood."

"That's rude."

It's quiet, except for a squeak as Ron pulls up another chair.

Y/n comes back laughing with Luna, who had a smile on her face. They're talking about something.

"Well I like girls. Guys are great too, but girls are better in my opinion. No offense Harry, Ron, and stranger." She stops for a second and glances at y/n, "you're quite pretty. Is this your girlfriend Harry?"

"Uh no."

"Unfortunately." Hermione adds under her breath.

"Oh. Are you looking for a girlfriend then? Or if not there's other things." Luna offers y/n. Y/n's face turns red in response.

Joseph snorts, "oh I can tell you get a lot of girls."

Luna hums in agreement, "yes. Oh speaking of, Ron, tell Ginny I enjoyed our date."

"Y-you and Ginny we-went on a date?"

"Yes. You'll tell her that, yes? And that I said hello."

"O-okay..."

By now Joseph had burst into laughter.

"Hey Luna?"

"Yes?"

"Would you like to join us to play a game tonight?"

"I'd love to. What game."

"A stupid one." Y/n mutters. Joseph jabs her in the side in response.
