"I can't wait until summer!"
"Right!?"
You and Joseph are walking home from school.
Which sucks by the way. School sucks. Completely sucks. The absolute worst.
"You know," Joseph drawls in a sing song voice, "maybe we'll see that Harry guy again."
"Oh don't remind me! I make such a fool of myself every time I talk to him."
"I know. That's why I'm so excited to see him."
"You're a jerk."
"You love it."
"Hmph."
"In summer we have to do something fun. Last summer was so boring so..."
"Ugh I agree."
"But one things for sure. Avoid the Dursley's at ALL costs. Except Harry. Speaking of him again next time we see him can we make sure he isn't gay?"
"Joseph! You're so weird."
"Trust me I know."
It's silent as you pass the Dursley household. You and Joseph both make sure to hurry past it, practically running.
"So what do you want to do this summer?" You ask him.
"Well I personally definitely want to get laid."
"Ugh that's so gross."
"What about skydiving?" He ignores your comment.
"You know I'm terrified of heights. And there's no way my parents would let me go."
He groans, "great god your parents are so boring. Mine let me do whatever I want. Think they might just be trying to get rid of me."
"So they'd let you jump out of a plane?"
"As long as I swear to them I won't have a parachute."
You both burst into laughter.
"Alright this is my house I better go."
"Yeah I should get home to. I have homework to do."
You internally groan at the idea of homework. A literal torture mechanism.
