"All I'm hearing is the whole meet your soulmate soon part worked. So my spell on went a tad haywire and it should still totally work!"
Harry groans in response, "yeah totally. What're you gonna have everyone do, say to every single person they meet after 'hey can you just sing for me real quick?'"
"Okay I see your point. It'll need more editing and fixing up."
"That's still not my point! Hermione she lives a few houses down from me. How am I ever even going to look at her again. What if I run into her? I can't just say, 'oh hey y/n. I'm actually a wizard and my friend made a spell to show me my soulmate and surprise! It's you.' Do you realize how crazy that would sound?"
"Well you don't have to tell her. You can just ask her out or something..."
"I don't know how to ask someone out Hermione. And I can't until summer. Speaking of during summer can you come over and teach me how to ask someone out."
She sighs, "you're hopeless. You should just think about it until summer. And if by then you want to ask her out then I'll go over and help you."
"I can come too mate!"
"Ron you'd give terrible advice. You have no experience."
"You don't either!"
"I'm a girl though. I know what girls like."
"Whatever."
Hermione rolls her eyes, "alright come on now we need to finish studying. Though I will be perfecting that spell later." She mutters the spell part to herself, but Harry can still hear her.
"Okay I'm actually going to bed."
"Harry! You need to study!"
"Hermione! It's one in the morning!" He mimics her voice.
"It's what!? We have classes tomorrow. Oh my heavens both of you get to bed right now! How could you guys be so careless?" She starts to grab her stuff.
"You are joking right?" Ron looks at her bewildered for trying to blame this on them.
She glares at him, "bed. Now." She turns to the girls staircase and hurries up.
"Well g'night Hermione!" Ron calls after her.
"Go to bed Ronald!"
He huffs and turns to Harry, "why does she always call me Ronald."
"Dunno mate. I'm going to bed though. Good luck with that."
