"Hey what did you want to talk about?"

"Well first of all here."

Harry looks up.

It's the weird girl from yesterday.

"Thank you my dearest friend. Now what was so important that we needed to meet up Christmas."

"I might have a crush."

"You what!? Okay tell me everything. Now and if you don't I'll stab your eyes out with an fork. Gosh I'm so excited this is like your first ever."

"How nice of you. And it's not my first ever it's just the first one who isn't a celebrity or- never mind."

"Just tell me!"

"Hey y/n."

"Harry!" Her head snaps towards him, eyes wide, "what are you doing here."

"I'm just sitting in the park?"

"Okay. Uh. Nice to see you but I gotta go. You didn't hear any of that conversation did you?"

"Uhm. Something about you-"

"Glad you didn't!"

"Y/n. Introduce me to your friend. He's hot."

"Uhm."

"Just saying."

"Pardon?"

"Are you gay?"

"Joseph!"

"No..."

"Damn."

"Harry this is Joseph, my best friend. Who's gay. And seems to like you."

"I like any guy that's hot."

"Joseph this is Harry. A guy I met yesterday at a dinner with the Dursley's. He's their nephew."

"Ugh hate the Dursley's. No offense Harry."

"None taken."

"I love you."

"Joseph you just met him."

"I know."

"Oh my god. I'm sorry Harry."

He laughs, awkwardly, "it's fine."

"Okay."

Once again there is awkward silence.

"So." Joseph sends y/n a look that she glares at him in response to.

"We have to g-"

"What's your number?"

"Huh?"

"Joseph I swear to god if y-"

"Your phone number."

"Oh I don't... have a phone. They don't work in my school anyways."

"Your school sounds depressing. You should come to our school instead."

"I like my school too much to leave it. Plus I'd hate normal school."

"Normal school?"

"Oh my schools just... special?"

"That's nice."

Awkward silence.

"Well we live near each other Harry, so I'll uh see you during summer. Or if we run into each other during break again, I'll see you then too."

"Yeah. See you then y/n."

As they walk away, Harry sees y/n smack Joseph's arm.

Not only is she weird, but her friend is too.
