Chapter 21

Everything went by so fast for Harry.

Most of it was just a blur.

Of course being kidnapped and nearly tortured by an evil teacher isn't too fun.

Good news is now Harry's in the ministry with his friends.

Bad news is they're all being held by death eaters while he was stuck in the middle, a prophecy in hand and Lucius Malfoy standing in front of him asking for it.

It had turned out to be a trap and they had fought against the death eaters as best as they could.

Ginny's ankle is broken, Hermione is incapacitated, Ron had been hit by a curse that made him extremely confused, Neville's wand was broken and he had just been hit by the cruciatus curse, Luna had been stunned by several spells, and Ron had accidentally summonsed a brain that attacked him, but it was gone now.

Oh and by asking he means threatening.

"Just hand over the prophecy and no one gets hurt."

"Don't trust him Ha- ouch!" Ron tries, but his captor jabs his wand into his skin.

"Give me the prophecy. Now."

"Okay!" Harry starts to hand him the prophecy.

Can't say how the days will unfold.

He yelps in surprise, he hadn't heard the voice in days. So hearing her startles him.

The prophecy drops out of his hand and falls towards the ground, shattering on impact.

Can't change what the future may hold.
But I want you in it.
Every hour.

"What the hell!?"

Every minute.
This would can race by far too fast.
Hard to see while it's all flying past.

Ron snorts at Harry, figuring out what happened quickly.

But it's clear now.
When you're standing here now.

Can't wait to see her this summer.

The voice stops abruptly. He's slightly confused but is quickly snapped back into reality when another spell is shot at him.

His body had started to move and fire spells on its own.

He had zoned out, thinking of y/n.

Whoops.

A bunch of other people had arrived.

Apparently he was now with Sirius Black, Lucius Malfoy in front of them.

They start to fire spells at each other, Sirius blocks Harry from any spells.

"Expelliarmus!"

"Nice one James!"

James?

He hesitates at that and Bellatrix appears, firing a spell at Sirius.

He falls into a Veil.

Harry can almost see a slightly apologetic look on Bellatrix's face. He takes a moment to process what happened.

And then he screams, a heart wrenching, terrible scream, running towards the place Sirius fell through.

Hands grab him, stopping him from going any further.

Remus stops him from jumping after Sirius.

Tears were falling down his face now.

Remus lets go of him as he slowly sinks to the ground.

Everything slowly fades to black.
