They're sitting in the common room doing homework. Ron should be coming soon.
"I mean I guess. Maybe. But hey! Who else would I test it on? You're the boy who lived I'm sure you'd have been fine even if it had gone extremely haywire."
"Let's not test that, yeah?"
"I suppose." She gives a dramatic sigh and starts to write again. Harry turns back to the parchment he was writing on.
Dear Padfoot,
Hey. I still can't wait until I can move in with you, when will that be, by the way? I do love Hogwarts, but I hate it ending. So once I can live with you... I won't hate school ending as much. Which is weird since most people hate school and can't wait for it to end. Haha...
You probably want the company anyways, right?
I'm still hearing the voice. It's always singing, nothing else. Turns out Hermione made a soulmate spell and tested it out on me but it went a bit wrong. It's supposed to show you who and where your soulmate is and also let you meet them soon after. The connection part kind of worked, I can communicate with her through song. But we don't know if the meeting part is working or not. Heck I guess we don't know if it's even my soulmate.
How are you? I know you're probably alone, unless Moony is with you. I hope you're doing well.

You haven't been replying to my letters, you're alright, yes?

"Oh. He still hasn't responded?"
"No."
"I'm sorry Harry."
"It's fine, it's not a big deal. I'm sure he's fine. He's probably just busy."
And then Harry finally noticed that Ron had arrived, "yeah. Busy doing nothing with nobody in an empty house."
"Ron!"
"Uh sorry."
