Chapter 2

Soleil POV

"Soleil get up, you gotta go" Lynette said and I rose my eyebrows sitting up from the floor, I was watching a show since there was nothing else to do but she fucked that up.

In my room, I call the floor a "bed". I just have my blankets, and some pillows. Lynette hasn't got me a bed yet. Even though I've been with her for years now.

"Go where?" I asked.

"I don't know, but me and my husband want quality time today so you, Tyrone, Danté and Raheem gotta go." She said.

"And where am I supposed to go?" I asked getting up and I sighed in frustration. I hate when she does this shit.

"I don't know Soleil, but go and don't come back till the street lights come up" Lynette said and I rolled my eyes.

I got up from the floor and said "Alright." And she walked out of my room and I sighed. I looked out to make sure she wasn't coming back, I opened my little dresser and pulled out a pocket knife I bought from a guy named Alex a few months ago.

I take it with me whenever Lynette pulls this shit, since I gotta be out all day. I put it in my pocket and covered it with my long t-shirt before I walked out of my room and towards the front door.

"Do not come back till tonight, you hear me?" Lynette's annoying ass husband Darrin said.

"I know. She told me." I said.

"Soleil you need to watch your mouth, and stop talking back." He said and I just walked out the door shutting it behind me.

That nigga always been a bitch to me as well, I never felt welcomed here.

I don't even know where Tyrone, Dantè and Raheem were but shit I didn't care either. I walked down the block with my arms folded with the biggest attitude. It was cold, and I was hungry. But I got money I saved so, I'ma walk somewhere and get me something to eat.

Tremaine POV

"Alright, nice job today fellas, game day is tomorrow so y'all better stay focused" Coach Walker said as we finally finished basketball practice.

I walked to the bench sitting down and changing my shoes and packing my gym bag up and Jaden sat next to me doing the same thing.

"Nahni was looking for you earlier" Jaden said and I smacked my lips.

"I told her I had practice today till 5" I said.

"She wanted to see if you were lying or not" He said.

"And that's her problem. Right there. I don't know how many times I gotta tell that girl she needa trust me" I said.

"She ain't even your girl and you loyal to her. I don't know how you do it" Jaden said laughing.

"Because I ain't a hoe" I said shrugging.

"Well she seems to think you are" He said chuckling and I shook my head.

"I'll deal with her later, I'm finna get me a burger or something, you rollin wit me or nah?" I asked.

"Yeah I'm down let's go" Jaden said.
