8:30 AM

I woke up out of my sleep in Soleil's bed, hearing music and smelling food.

I said a prayer in my head, thanking God for another day as I got up.

I rubbed my eyes a bit as I walked out of her room and into the kitchen hearing her playing "You" by Lloyd and cooking at the same time.

"Was good wife" I said standing behind her and holding her waist, I kissed her cheek and she smiled.

"Finally you're up" She said.

"You're such an early bird" I said. She be up at like 6 AM ready to go. She was already dressed and everything.

"I know, you're more of a night owl" She said chuckling.

"Smells good baby" I said seeing she made bacon, and eggs and now she was making pancakes.

"Everything is almost done, give me like another 15 minutes" She said.

"Take your time, I'm finna go shower" I said.

"Aight" Soleil said, I kissed her neck before walking back to her room to go shower.

"So you still coming with me to O'Shea's birthday thing tonight right?" I asked Soleil as we were eating at the table together.

"Yeah of course, I just gotta figure out what I'ma wear" She said.

"Well, he says dress formal I guess. But a nigga like me finna come fly as fuck" I said.

"What you wearing?" Soleil asked. "I'll match you" She added.

"My hoodie is white, it's the one I got from versace, and I'm gone wear black jeans with my jordan's true flights" I said and she rose her eyebrows.

"Oh you got it all planned out" Soleil said and I laughed and shrugged.

"True. And I'm wearing my Cartier's" I said.

"Ooh the glasses?" She asked.

"Mhm" I said and she blushed causing me to laugh.

"What?" I said.

"I love when you wear those. They look so sexy on you" She said and I winked at her. "Thank you Mookie" I said.

"You're welcome. Okay so I guess I'll find a white top and black bottoms, I'll figure it out" Soleil said and I nodded my head.

My phone started ringing and I looked on the table and seen it was Janiya, my co worker.

"You not gone answer that?" Soleil asked me.

"Nah, I don't have work today so I don't know why she calling" I said.

"Yeah I don't either." Soleil said with an attitude in her voice and I laughed.

"Aye chill Mookie" I said.

"What? I am chill" She said.

"I could hear all in your voice, you not fucking with her calling me" I said.

"Yeah because like you said, you have the day off. The fuck she calling you for? And she acts funny, but then compliments me in the same breath. It's shady" Soleil said.

"Oh you trippin, relax" I said.

"I'm trippin?" Soleil said.

"Yeah you are" I said and she laughed.
