Soleil POV

"Helloooo?" I answered the phone and it was Tremaine.

"Was good baby" He said.

"Cooking, you on your way here?" I asked.

"Yep, on my way to you right now. What you making?" He asked me.

"I'm making gumbo since you been begging for it" I said and he laughed.

"Bout time" He said and I laughed a little.

"I know, I'm spoiling you today" I said.

"Good" Tremaine said and I playfully rolled my eyes.

"How was work?" I asked him.

"Tiring... A nigga is tired" Tremaine said. He worked 12 hours today.

"I know baby, I got chu. You can eat then I'll take care of you afterwards" I said.

"You so good to yo man" Tremaine said and I smiled.

"Got to. And I-" I started off before I heard some noise outside and I scrunched my eyebrows.

"You good?" Tremaine asked.

"Yeah I just- Nevermind. Anyways, I was gonna say I will-" I started off before I heard the noise again.

Then I heard "Soleilllllllll"

"The fuck?" I mumbled.

"Who is that?" Tremaine asked.

"You heard that too right?" I said.

"Yeah" He said. "I'm almost there don't even trip" He added.

I walked to my window in the living room and I slightly opened the curtain and seen.... My mother.

Standing outside, clearly high as hell, yelling my name.

"Soleillllllll" She dragged out again and she began talking to herself.

"Oh my gosh" I mumbled.

"What?" Tremaine said.

"Tremaine, go home. I'll bring the food to you." I said.

"What's going on?" He asked me.

"It's... Its my mother. She's outside" I said.

"How the fuck she even know where you live?" Tremaine asked.

"I have no idea. I'm gonna see what's going on, and then I'ma bring the food to you. Okay?" I said.

"You sure?" Tremaine asked.

"Yeah, I got it." I said.

"Aight, I'll go to my place" He said.

"I'll be there in bout an hour" I said.

"Aight Mookie, I love you" Tremaine said.

"I love you too baby" I said before we hung up.

I sighed a little before making my way outside.

"Mom?" I said and she ran up to me tryna hug me but I dodged it.

"Wait wait- What's going on?" I asked.

"I was thinking about you, I know we not good but we still good, you feel me?" She said and she was talking HELLA fast. She's most definitely back on drugs.

I sighed and said "Yeah... I guess..."

"W-we can fix our shit you feel me?? I love you cuz, I love you" She said wrapping one arm around me and I lowkey wanted to cry, but I held it in.
