Chapter 18

Soleil POV

6:00 AM

I woke up hearing my alarm on my phone go off. I looked down and seen Tremaine laying on my stomach, asleep.

We take turns. Some days I spend the night as his place, some days he spends the night at mine and he was at mine this time.

I sighed a little turning my alarm off, then I looked down at Tremaine on my stomach, just admiring my man.

I put my hand over his durag on his head and rubbed his head back and forth and I closed my eyes and started praying for him.

Side note: I pray for my man every morning and night 💙.

"Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for another day. I thank you for allowing me to see another day. I thank you for allowing Tremaine to see another day. Please cover Tremaine and protect him at all times, please help him to stay focused on all of his goals and ambitions, I ask that you keep our relationship strong and to help us to keep putting YOU first no matter what. I thank You for keeping us strong even when we feel weak, and keeping us level headed during the toughest times. I thank You for bringing him back in my life. I thank You for your grace you've placed over our lives. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen." I prayed.

When I opened my eyes I looked down and seen Tremaine looking up at me.

"Baby were you praying for me?" He asked.

"Yes" I said leaning down and kissing his forehead. He looked at me for a second before he sat up and smiled a little.

"Wow.. Thank you. I never had somebody do that for me before besides my mama and my granny" He said.

"Add me to that list now, I got you." I said.

"I.... I appreciate that Mookie" Tremaine said giving me a kiss.

"No problem" I said.

Side note: Tremaine told me that he was gonna tell me he loved me right there ^ But, lowkey got nervous because he never told a girl that before besides of course his mother and grandmother 😭. And at the time, we were about 2 and a half or maybe three months into our relationship.

"How do you feel this morning? You good?" I asked him.

"Yeah, I slept good last night" He said.

"Good, what you wanna eat?" I asked getting out the bed.

"Mmm. You really wanna know?" He said and I laughed.

"Boy bye" I said and he smacked his lips.

"But since I can't have that right now, I want some bacon and eggs please" He said and I smiled.

"Pancakes too? I lowkey want pancakes" I said.

"Aight add that in there" Tremaine said.

"Alright give me an hour tops. I should be done by then" I said.

"Take your time mamas" He said and I nodded my head as I walked to my kitchen.

Hours later

"Hey you home?" I asked Tremaine through my Bluetooth speaker as I just got off of work.

"Yeah just got home like an hour ago" He said.

"Aight I just clocked out, I'ma go home and shower then I'll be on the way to you" I said.
