Chapter 3

Tremaine POV

"Was good Soleil" I said as she walked in the class, before the bell rang. She looked at me and smiled a little saying "Wassup"

I smiled too and Jaden tapped my shoulder and asked "You got any other classes with her?"

"Nah just this one" I said. Only math.

"Go fuck wit her cuh, you ain't dealing with Nahni no more" Jaden said and I laughed.

"Shut up nigga" I said.

"She fine" He said.

"I know but we coo. We can keep it that way" Tremaine said.

"Scary ass" Jaden said.

"I ain't scared." I said.

Did I find Soleil attractive? Hell yeah but I can tell she's too herself right now and she just started going here, I wouldn't wanna already throw myself on her. So I'ma just be her friend, for now.

"Then go fuck wit her" Jaden said and I smacked my lips.

"Mind yo business cuh" I said and he laughed and playfully pushed me.

"Alright, listen up" Ms.Smith said to the whole class and we all got quiet and looked at her.

"Today we're gonna do a project which will consist of 3 people, and you can pick. And you guys will do a Rotational Symmetry Project. A mandala." Ms.Smith said and I sighed.

The fuck is that?

"And you guys will tell me the order and degree of rotational symmetry since we've been studying it these past two weeks. I'll provide you all with paper, compasses, and markers/crayons for this project. Find your groups now" Ms.Smith said and me and Jaden instantly partnered up.

"We need one more" I said.

Jaden looked over and said "Soleil!"

"Yeah?" She said.

"Come join us" Jaden said and Soleil walked over to us with her arms folded shyly and she said "Okay.. But I think Crystal would've wanted me to be with her"

"She absent that's her fault" I said chiming in and Soleil chuckled shaking her head.

"Alright well.. I guess I'll join you two" Soleil said.

Ms.Smith handed all of us a piece of paper, along with a box of markers and crayons, a ruler and a compass.

1 hour later

"So what made you come here all of the sudden? It's the middle of the year" I said to Soleil as all three of us were working and she laughed a little.

"I got expelled from my last school so here I am" Soleil said and I rose my eyebrows.

"Damn" Jaden said laughing. "What you do?" He asked.

"I got in a fight three times, my third strike they expelled me" She said shrugging.

"You bad" Jaden said laughing and she smacked her lips laughing too.

"No I'm not" She said.

"She ain't bad, just got a story to tell." I said and she looked at me.

"Exactly.." Soleil said.

"I can tell there's more to Soleil than the fights, right?" I said to her.

"Much more." She said.

"Should tell yo story then" I said outlining this mandala with my marker, Jaden looked at me and smirked and I ignored his annoying ass and chuckled a little.
