Soleil POV

"Hello?" I answered the phone for Sa'Nay as I was pulling up to my house.

"Hey boo! How are you?" She asked me.

"I'm good how are you?" I asked.

"I'm great, I wanted to ask you a lil something" She said.

"Wassup?" I asked leaning back against my seat and pulling out my blunt I had already rolled up and my lighter.

"So you know how I have a dance concert coming up with the dance company I go to every year at my college?" She asked.

"Mhm" I said.

"And you know how Jada is in it too for me?" She said.

"Yeah" I said.

"Well, the third girl we had, she twisted her ankle and we need a third member for our routine" Sa'Nay said.

"Okay?" I said and she laughed.

"Soleil you know where I'm going with it" She said.

"Aht! No. I already performed at your birthday party and I'm entirely too shy" I said and she laughed even harder.

"Pleaseeee! You killed it at my birthday party too! You know how to move that body" She said.

"And do, but still" I said and she laughed.

"Jada's doing it for me! Pleaseeeeee do it for meeeee" Sa'Nay said.

"So I can twist my ankle like that girl?" I asked sarcastically.

"No, she has two left feet when it comes to dancing and that's why she twisted her ankle." Sa'Nay said and I chuckled.

"Stop being mean." I said.

"It's the truth" Sa'Nay said.

I sighed and said "When's the concert?"

"Three weeks" She said.

"What?! That's how long I'll have to learn it?!" I said.

"I know! Sounds very short but you pick up fast so you'll be fine I promise!" Sa'Nay said.

"What are y'all dancing to?" I asked.

"Lose my breath by Destiny's Child" Sa'Nay said.

"Oooooh" I said.

"Yes! And the third girl had Michelle's part and then it plays the instrumental right after and she had that whole part there too. So that would be for you" Sa'Nay said.

"Oooh okay. I love Michelle's parts" I said.

"Me too. She literally had the best parts in every song they had" Sa'Nay said laughing.

"Right" I said laughing too.

"Soooo you down?" Sa'Nay asked and I sighed.

"Yes! Because I love you and I wanna help!" I said.

"Yayyyyyy! I love you! Girl you can dance so I know you're gonna kill the choreography. Some of the choreography is from the video and some isn't, so if you can, you can come over today and we can start rehearsing" Sa'Nay said.

"Okay I'll let you know because me and Tremaine supposed to be going to the gym together once he gets off work" I said lighting up my blunt and I took a few puffs before exhaling.

"Okay that's fine and if you can't come today, we'll start tomorrow!" Sa'Nay said.

"Alright boo, I'll let you know in advance" I said.
