SOLEIL POV

I had the baby shower and all, got so many gifts from my family and friends and I was extremely grateful.

"You alright?" Tremaine asked me as I got in the bed, holding my stomach and taking a deep breath.

"He's kicking.." I said and Tremaine smiled a little getting in the bed with me, and he placed his hand on my stomach.

"Right here.." I said grabbing his hand and putting it lower where lil man was kicking.

"Just wait" I said chuckling and soon enough, he started kicking and you could see it through my stomach, which had me and Tremaine in awe.

"There he go" Tremaine said as he laughed. "We ready whenever you are man, you take yo time cuh" He said to my stomach before kissing on it and I giggled.

"Why our son gotta be cuh already?" I said nudging him and he laughed saying "Because"

"Lemme ask you something" He said.

"Okay" I said.

"How was your pregnancy overall? What would you say?" Tremaine asked as we intertwined our fingers, and he kissed my forehead.

"Well the first couple of months we're tough, just throwing up everyday and in and out the hospital because of it. So. It was tough in the beginning but now it's beautiful. Knowing I'm carrying a human and it's growing inside of me is a beautiful thing." I said.

"Would you want another baby after this?" Tremaine asked rubbing my stomach softly.

"Yeah I'd do it again. Hopefully I wouldn't have morning sickness a lot next time though." I said chuckling.

"Yeah, I hated what you went through in the beginning. Them hospital visits were rough but we got through it" Tremaine said.

"And I appreciate you being there for me every step of the way baby. You been there every appointment and all. Every time I had to go to the hospital because of me getting sick, you were there. No complaints, or hesitation. So thank you for that." I said.

"Oh baby that's my job, you know I got chu" Tremaine said kissing my cheek and then my lips, and I smiled.

"I know. But there were times where we'd have to go to the hospital at five in the morning when we're both extremely tired and you never complained. I just wanted you to know how appreciative I am of that. You're gonna be the best dad.." I said as he held me.

"You gone be the best mama" He said.

"Ima do my best. I wanna give him the life I didn't have you know? I always questioned my parents and why they put me in the system, well, my mother. I always thought she didn't love me. And I don't ever want my son to question my love for him. Ever." I said.

"And he won't. Your love is pure and from the heart, can't nobody deny that. Shit, my dad was never around. And I wanna prove that I can be better and do much better than he did." Tremaine said.

"You will.. I know you will." I said and we both leaned in at the same time and kissed.

"I love you so much Tremaine" I said hugging him and he hugged me back saying "I love you too Mookie." And kissed me softly on my neck.

"You gone let me have some?" He asked and I smacked my lips saying "As big as I am and how I feel right now? Boy please"

He laughed and said "Come onnnn"

"Boy I feel fat and like I'm bout to pop any minute" I said and he laughed saying "I feel you baby. I ain't the one carrying so"

"Exactly" I said. The last thing I'm thinking bo is sex.
