Soleil POV

"Alright one more time and then we're done" Sa'Nay said.

We had one more week until me, her and Jada perform at her college event, and I didn't have much time to learn because of me getting incarcerated and also dealing with my mom's shit, but luckily for me I pick up quickly.

And we were dancing to "Lose my breath" by Destiny's Child, and learned the choreography from one of the instructors at her college.

But today, we were rehearsing on our own.

Sa'Nay started the song all over, and for the beginning we all started the choreography together, and for Beyoncè's verse Sa'Nay was on her own.

Kelly's verse, Jada was on her own, and Michelle and the ending part I was on my own, before we all came together again.

It was very fast paced, a lot of step movement, twerking, allat shit.

After we finished running it through one more time, Sa'Nay said "We finna kill that shit on Saturday"

"Period" Jada said as she tossed all of us a bottle of water.

"I have a question" I said.

"Hmm" Sa'Nay said.

"How many people finna be there?" I asked.

"Girl, the whole damn college" She said.

"Shit" I said. I'm still shy with this stage shit. At her birthday party it was packed so just imagine a whole college. Plus it's a University college, which is thousands and thousands of people.

I was definitely nervous. But shit, I got it in the bag.

"My baby still shy" Sa'Nay said hugging me and I laughed saying "Hell yea"

"Girl you killed it at the birthday party, so you gone be just fine" Jada said giving me a hug.

"I know but still" I said laughing a little.

"It'll be okay I promise, and we gone be right up there with you" Sa'Nay said.

"Y'all better" I said taking a sip of my water and they laughed.

"What y'all finna be on now?" Sa'Nay asked.

"I'm prolly finna sit on Travon's dick when I get home" Jada said, and me and Sa'Nay just looked at her before she bursted into laughter.

"You asked!" Jada said to Sa'Nay.

"But did we really need to know that?" Sa'Nay said.

"Right" I said laughing.

"Girl y'all asked soooo I was just being honest" Jada said chuckling.

"Whew. Anyways, I gotta go check on my mom at the hospital, then I'm gonna go home" I said.

"How's she doing?" Sa'Nay asked.

"I'm not sure, so I'm gonna check on her progress when I get there" I said.

"Well I'm sending you prayers Lay. I'm so sorry" Jada said.

"It's coo, it'll be fine." I said shrugging it off. I try not to show too much emotion about this in front of people.

"You sure?" Sa'Nay asked.

"Yeah.. I mean, I hope so" I said.

"Well.. We're here for you. Call on me if you need me" She said, I nodded my head and said "Thank you"

"Of course. Give me a hug, come here, both of you" Sa'Nay said and we all hugged.

"You gone get blessed Soleil, watch" Jada said.
