1:00 AM

"Hello?" Soleil answered the phone sleepily, I just got off work and was on my way to her.

Hate these late night shifts but it pay more so I do what I gotta do.

"Sorry Mookie did I wake you?" I asked re-lighting this blunt I had in my mouth, and I took a puff and exhaled.

"It's okay baby, are you good?" She asked.

"Yeah I'm coo.. I just got off, I'm on my way to you" I said.

"How was work?" She asked.

"It was aight, I'm tired" I said.

"I got you when you get home okay? I made some food, it's wrapped up in foil on the table" Soleil said.

Swear I gotta wife her soon.

"Thank you baby" I said exhaling more smoke from my mouth and keeping my eyes on the road.

"You high?" She asked me and I laughed.

"How you know?" I asked.

"By how you talking.." Soleil said giggling.

"Yeah, it's some traffic tonight on the freeway" I said sighing a little.

"Damn, I wonder why. It's 1 so what the hell... Why ain't they sleep" Soleil said and we both laughed.

"On me" I said.

"I missed you all day" Soleil whined.

"I know, daddy missed you too.." I said and she giggled.

"Oooh don't start, you already sound sexy as hell" She said.

"You sound and look sexy as hell" I said.

"Baby you can't even see me right now" Soleil said.

"I don't have to.." I said, and she took a deep breath.

"You know just the things to say to make these panties come off" Soleil said causing me to laugh.

"I'm just keeping it honest Mookie" I said.

"Mmm.. You always do" She said.

"I ain't gone lie.. When I get off work at this time and it be this late and shit, I'll roll up a blunt and just drive and just think about chu.. All fuckin night" I said biting my lip.

"Tremaineeeee oh my gosh" Soleil said and I laughed.

"Wassup baby?" I said.

"You getting me wet stop" She said.

"Lemme keep talking then" I said and we both laughed.

"Babyyyyy I gotta get up early and you gone make me wanna give it to you when you get home if you keep it up" Soleil said.

"Why you getting up early?" I asked.

"Remember? I'm going with my dad early in the morning to... Meet my grandmother" Soleil said.

"Oh yeaaaah." I said, I can tell she was extremely nervous about that.

"How you feel about that?" I asked.

"I don't know really. I'm nervous, but kind of excited. I never experienced having a grandparent before, so" Soleil said.

"Yeah I know, I'm glad you gone meet her though" I said.

"Me too, I wanna give it a shot" Soleil said.

"How long am I gone be without you Mookie?" I asked.

"Not too long, we going early because she has things to do later in the day so, I'm leaving at 7 I should be back by 10 or 11." Soleil said.
