🐶It all felt like a matter of moments, but in reality, it has been 9 hours since the whole episode of her Dadi fainting. Nobody knew what had exactly happened except for Pankhuri.
She was the only one in the house who knew the whole truth. After the doctor came for a check-up and left with a confused mind.
The doctor started to rethink his medical practice when Pankhuri's Dadi had fainted and during the check-up, she was absolutely fine.
No increase/decrease in blood pressure.
No tension.
No weakness.
No nothing nada.
Still, she had fainted. Everyone left her in the room for her to rest except for Pankhuri who just wanted to stay close to her Dadi afraid of the whole situation. Pankhuri's heart raced until she had opened her eyes and winked at her before closing it back.
And that's when she realized all the time when everyone panicked around. Her grandmother just pranked everyone just because she thought Pankhuri was too upset to leave and she wanted to go and meet her old friends from school.
And that's where the typical trait of Indian Parents showed up on her. Didn't knew what exactly the kid wanted but still got her.
Fast forward to the present Pankhuri stood in the side of a big hall with party lights all around her and her best friends Pallavi and Mansi standing by her side as always.
The trio held the apple, mango, and pineapple juices in their hands respectively, what else do you expect three 19-year-old, girls to drink.
Even after trying numerous tricks to not come to the party, she was sent here and she couldn't even deny coming to the party otherwise she would have been bombarded with questions.
And this time Chintan also didn't stop her, he let her go.
Pankhuri stood looking around as people around looked at her wearing peach and white crop top and plaided skirt lehenga. She felt really awkward as almost everyone knew about her marriage and they stared at her while gossiping.
She so much wanted to destroy herself to hide from those awkward stares and especially the long ones. She was the only one from her classmates who had gotten married so early.
Pankhuri groaned under her breath before leaning towards her best friend 'I wish I can die...why is everyone staring at me...WHY...Ugghh'
'just 'cause you have been fucked more times than anyone here... ' Pallavi laughed and walked away with a wink.
'Huh... ' Pankhuri raised her hand in the air and started to walk behind her with narrowed eyes. Sometimes Pankhuri couldn't believe she is friends with someone whose mind is always in the gutter.
Chuckling she sat next to Pallavi, who looked around as if searching for someone. Pankhuri noticed it but decided no to talk about it and pay attention to the thing she needs to do the most.
I.e. hide from Vikrant, he had seen her this morning and she knew he wouldn't leave her for whatever had happened months back. The story of their almost kiss had spread across the school like fire. For Pankhuri the best she did that time was ignore and study.
