In case of confusion, missing words don't be shy your author is jobless at the moment dm me or leave a comment.
Also, this is a work of fiction, no one can expect exact things that will happen in a real court so have some softness for the book. ❤❤

Pankhuri sat blankly on her hospital bed after a long nap, trying to cope up with the effects of medicine that has been fed to her to soothe the pain caused by her ridiculous act from yesterday.
'What was going through my mind' Pankhuri asked herself the same question again and again trying to understand her mindset. Never in all her life, she had ever thought she will take such a big step.
Trying to kill herself.
She has been greatly disturbed since yesterday hence her mind was completely clouded with dark thoughts but now when her mind got the much-needed rest she could judge things more transparently. Not the fairest but at least better than yesterday.
As soon as the thought crossed her mind his words from the morning followed, making her wonder 'was he saying truth'
'Pankhuri...stop it... it's enough now, you can say whatever you want to but when I am saying that I did not kill that Dutta then listen to me...stop putting fake allegations on me...ok?...If you still don't understand then listen once again I am not a killer...I did not kill that Dutta...ones for all I am telling you that...never'
Living with him for nearly 5 months complete 4 months, she had an insight into what he truly was. He never really opened to her in an emotional manner like a husband needs to, but that did not stop her from understanding what he was up to. For the first months of their marriage, he was the monster, angry, Cheater and all the other bad words to describe a bad husband, but later on, he was something more, she had too started to open up to him, sometimes laughing around but not to forget to be cautious around him he still had that small piece of his anger ready to burst out anytime (for eg: Chapter 39 and 40, when she tried to contact Aryan without his permission). Most of the time his face reflected what was going through his mind but other times it was a complete surprise, ironically that surprise was only for her, he would walk closer to her with a serious, mysterious face or even a blank one terrifying her only to astonish her by a teasing slap on her butt, or a bite on her earlobe or anything that would make her feel weak in front of him. But then there were also the moments where he would ask her to come closer to him while laughing and then end up shoving her against the wall or on the table, manhandling her or punishing her for any of the mistakes she had made throughout the day.
