The whole Dewan mansion felt like chaos. People moving here and there, Tushar's elder brother yelling, other people running. And also why wouldn't they, it was the day of marriage.
Everyone ran here and there, doing the chores handled to them except for one, Chintan. In a way, he also followed what he was ordered to do and that was to not get involved in any marriage function.
When in the morning it all seemed normal, Tushar's elder brother dropped another bomb by fighting with Tushar and asking him and family to leave. And Tushar in return just patiently listened to him and agreed.
But later Avinash requested his father to let them stay and he reluctantly agreed but over the condition that Chintan won't be a part of any of the upcoming marriage functions.
And right now as everyone prepared for the function tonight, Chintan sat in his room, with a file in hands trying to concentrate but just can't.
His mind just wandered around the same place, Pankhuri.
'Uggghhh...I just hate her...' he thought to himself like a teenager hating his classmate, who didn't help him cheat in the exam. He took a deep breath in order to calm his hot head.
He just felt like, if she comes in front of him, he won't mind shooting her. He groaned in his mind again and threw the file next to him on the bed.
He held his head, as it pained a lot, probably due to overthinking. He opened the drawer in the side table and took out pain killers. He took the glass of water and ingested the pill in one go.
Chintan turned back to keep the painkillers back into the drawer but his attention got caught by a white paper sticking out. He took out the paper.
His anger, annoyance all just got dissolved away, he smiled again remembering the whole Shony Jins snapshots. He chuckled.
He sighed and kept the paper back into the drawer. He laid on the bed as his hands rested over his head. From the day he came here, he has been planning to return the paper to her, but every time he just forgets about it.
He realizes the fact that Yes, it was his mistake, he shouldn't have done that. But, she wasn't supposed to tell anyone and he got angry again.
He closed his eyes trying to sleep. Suddenly the door of his room swung open, horrifying him to death. He looked towards the door and found Indrani standing with a brown shopping bag in her hand.
Chintan abruptly got up to greet her but she ignored. She came inside, took out a pair of clothes and placed it on the bed before saying 'wear this tonight...Bhaiya has allowed you to come to the function...'
And Indrani started to walk out of the room. As she reached the door, Chintan stopped her by saying 'Bua...I am sorry...It all was my...' But Tushar who stood there at the door stopped him by saying 'No need...we'll talk to you after we reach Delhi' and with this Tushar pulled his dear wife with him.
Chintan sat as he realized what is soon coming for him. He held his hair in his fist as he sat down on the bed with a thud. He looked towards the clothes on the bed and his hands shivered.
He could still remember those painful 4 months when he was sent to the Rehabilitation center. Those 4 months he could never forget, the trauma he went through.
He gulped down realizing the fact that as soon as they get back to Delhi he will be sent again to the same Torture prison, the Rehabilitation center. He took long deep breaths, got up, and moved towards the bathroom to get ready.
