Late Night
Pankhuri and Aryan sat next to each other in Pankhuri's room while trying to solve Quantitative Techniques as a thick book laid open in front of them.
Aryan sighed looking at the long queue of questions laying in front of his eyes. He shook his head and closed his eyes for a brief moment before continuing back at solving it.
'Hey, Pankh How to solve this pr...' Aryan stopped speaking as he looked at Pankhuri who looked really busy in her own world. Lost in thoughts, deep thoughts.
'Pankh' Aryan spoke lightly nearing to her ears.
'Pankhuriii...' Aryan again called her but this time in a singing tone.
Aryan looked carefully at Pankhuri who looked at the table in front of them, without paying attention, without blinking her eyes for once.
She held a pencil in her hand which she lightly nibbled on the very end of it.
'Aeee...' Aryan called out loud as he punched Pankhuri on her shoulder making her lose her balance but bringing her back to reality.
'Yeah, Yeah...So where we were' Pankhuri came out of her thoughts. Cleared her throat and again started to solve questions.
'Aeee...' Aryan again called as he clapped his hands in front of her, forcing her to look at him.
She signed and spoke 'What...!'
'Where and why are you so lost today' Aryan asked her not so nice.
'Nothing...I am just tensed about the exam' Pankhuri lied to him, in heart she knows, whose thoughts are distracting her.
'Don't lie to me Pankh...' Aryan asked her and placed his hand on her shoulder.
Pankhuri laughed lightly and spoke 'why will I lie'
'I don't know, but there is something I am 100% sure about it' Aryan uttered.
Pankhuri looked at Aryan and spoke 'I am not hiding anything and you...' Pankhuri removed his hand from her shoulder got up and pulled him by his wrist saying '...get out of my room I have to sleep' she completed and closed the door on his face.
Pankhuri closed all her books and copies and laid on the bed. She closed her eyes trying to sleep but the weird feeling didn't let her sleep.
This was the first time she felt like that. That weird feeling, when he stood close to her naked, that heat, moisture, and the racing heartbeat.
She could not describe the emotions she was feeling, so she tussled on the bed for hours before she fell into a deep slumber.

'Pankhuri open the door now'
Pankhuri abruptly got up. She heard her mother scream and slamming on the door. She without thinking a second stood and ran towards the door still in a sleepy state.
'Pankhuri...we have been waking you up for the last half an hour, we knocked on the door and on the window, but you slept like you have not for days' Her mother shouted at her, still not waking her completely.
she could not figure out what's happening around her. Her mother held her by her arms and shook her. She pulled Pankhuri by her arms towards the clock and the house and again screamed
