A/N: Hey Guys, I know this chapter is really late (...and also small ☠) but if you follow me you probably know that I am traveling for my college admission. Traveling by train was really hectic and exhausting (30+ hrs). So please pardon me for a while.
My admission process ends somewhere near the 10th of this month. So, please have patience until then.
The chapter is short and really short. Just a couple of scenes.
Sorry for any mistake or missing words. Please comment or DM.
Happy Reading

Aryan completed reciting looking at the list in his phone, that he held in his free hand, standing in front of the vegetable vendor with Pankhuri standing beside him as they both stood in the middle of the village main market, buying vegetables listed by Neelima.
Pankhuri looked lost while holding the big bag of groceries in her hands, same as Aryan, and looking into space. She was lost in her own world of thoughts, while Aryan didn't notice.
They have been out in the market buying stuff that was listed by Neelima, even after she had said she doesn't want anything.
As soon as Neelima had given the list of things in Pankhuri's hand 'Shit' was Aryan's first reaction. Not because he didn't want to buy all the stuff rather her list happen to be bigger than the whole General Knowledge syllabus.
And just after Pankhuri got ready they had walked out of the house.
That was two hours back BTW.
'250' the shopkeeper calculated as he passed the plastic bags of all the vegetables to Aryan who nodded while taking the plastic bags in the nook of his finger and passing the change two fifty to him.
Aryan turned around with now both his hands completely occupied, without realizing Pankhuri was standing just beside him completely lost in her thoughts, so much so that she didn't even notice Aryan turn around, resulting in them crashing against each other.
Pankhuri snapped out of her thoughts, with the sudden clash. She gasped loudly and because of her reflex actions, her hands automatically left the grip on the packets in her hand and traveled towards Aryan's arm to hold it, in order to prevent herself from falling ass first in front of nearly all the village. Aryan's eyes widened in the process as he too left the packet in his hand, and instantly held her elbow of the hand, she was holding his arm with. Both of them stared at each other in shock, holding their breaths.
With an ajar mouth and widened eyes, Pankhuri straightened herself and loosened the grip on his arm immediately after coming out of her initial shock. She blinked her eyes a couple of times closing her mouth shut she looked at her elbow, signaling Aryan to leave, which he did just with a little hesitation.
Aryan nodded and slowly loosened his grip on her elbow while asking 'You Ok'
'Yeah' Pankhuri replied, tucking the strand of her hair that fell out, behind her ears. Pankhuri abruptly bent down and sitting on both her knees she started to pick up the stuff that had fallen down. She was standing with Aryan since they had arrived at the vegetable vendor. The last memory she had on her mind was of them waiting for the previous customer to pay, who wouldn't do a thing but bargain and argue over the prices.
