Binay went back to his house with millions of thoughts dancing around in his head. The turmoil going in his mind can not be explained to anybody at the moment.

Binay knocked on the door lightly, within a few moments the door opened reveling his wife who waited for him to come back. She looked at him with worry-filled in her eyes. Binay looked back at her and then he walked inside before speaking anything.

He sat on the sofa as he opened his shoes and his wife offered him a glass of water.

'What happened, did they arrest him' Neelima asked with worry completely reflecting in her voice as she sat next to him.

She heard him sigh and sit as he completely leaned back on the couch.

'Please tell me, I am feeling nervous' Neelima asked as she didn't get any reply.

Binay took a deep breath before sitting straight and speaking 'No they didn't...'

'Why' Neelima asked with shock reflecting in her voice. A few hours back in the morning when he told he will be filing an FIR against them, she feared and denied but later got in support of her husband's decision. And now listening to this gave her a different level of sadness and shock.

Binay scoffed as a tear fell off his eyes 'Tushar played his evergreen Checkmate with the police...he bribed them' Binay wiped his tears as he scoffed again.

'What are you going to do now are you still going to work under him?' Neelima too wiped off her tears, as her eyes got filled seeing her husband cry.

"There is something Tushar said...and I even opposed it but he told me to think over it with you'

'What is it...?'

Before Binay could speak, they heard someone sneeze. They both abruptly looked at the source of the sound to find Pankhuri peeking through the door.

Binay quickly looked away from her, as he blamed himself for all the things that happened to her.

'Pankhuri come here beta...how was your sleep' Neelima asked as with a lot of efforts she finally had put Pankhuri to sleep. Pankhuri smiled and came forward.

'It was good...Papa where were you the whole day...' Pankhuri asked looking at Binay who just stole eyes from his daughter.

With a lot of effort Binay looked at Pankhuri and spoke 'Nowhere Pankhuri...mmm Actually I have to ask something' he paused trying to sense the surroundings.

He cleared his throat 'Pankhuri will you do anything, if I ask you to'

Pankhuri frowned listening to his weird question. She reluctantly answered 'Yes Papa'.
