😊Pankhuri looked at herself in the mirror in front of her. She took a deep breath trying to control her racing heartbeat.
Finally, the day was here, the day when she was going to be completely Mrs. Pankhuri Singhal. The thought of it brought a shy smile to her face.
She ran her hands up and down on her red wedding lehenga adjusting it as the bangles in her hands jingled together. She could hear the sounds of songs from the downstairs, as the groom and the family had arrived around half an hour back.
She heard her stomach grumble, she felt so hungry, as she hasn't eaten anything since the morning. She walked back and forth in the room waiting for her best friends to return.
She has gotten ready an hour back and since then both Mansi and Pallavi were with her giving her different tips for her first night.
And listening to them made her realize that she is the only one among the three of them to be the most naive. And now she doesn't know if she should take it as a compliment or what.
And now she was alone, as both her dummies had run downstairs to see their Best Friend's Husband.
Pankhuri felt really restless. She took long breaths to calm her racing heart and mind.
*knock-knock*
Suddenly Pankhuri heard loud knocks on her door. She moved towards the door and made it ajar to peek out. Both Pallavi and Mansi, who stood on the other side pushed the door open completely.
'Pankh....eeee' Mansi squealed in excitement 'Jiju looks sooo goooood...' Mansi completed in an excited yet low voice as she continued to squeal.
Pankhuri felt shy and then looked up back again at Mansi and asked feeling awkward 'what is he wearing...does he have his beard or is he clean-shaven'
As Mansi was about to say anything Pallavi stopped her and spoke 'Mansi don't tell her anything...let her see by herself...' And Pallavi smiled.
Pankhuri knew it was finally the time to go downstairs for the rituals, and now finally she will be able to see him. She covered her eyes with her henna hand, as a shy expression lit her face up.
Neelima came inside the room to take her downstairs with her. Pankhuri looked at herself for the last time in the mirror before walking out with her mother and friends.

Chintan sat on the stage as he waited and looked around with a very plain face. He looked like he had many things going in his mind, still, none spoken.
People around him, especially girls checked him out while gossiping. And why wouldn't they, It is not a daily thing to see Chintan in a dark space blue sherwani.
The sherwani which he had selected with a lot of discussions and a lot of rejection.
Chintan cleared his throat and adjusted his turban as he leaned back, feeling uncomfortable due to so much attention. Thanks to god Chetanya too stayed next to him giving him company.
Even though Chetanya too himself didn't like so much attention and he too felt uncomfortable but at least it helped in a way.
There was double amount of people at the wedding in comparison to the engagement.
