6 Months Later
Time flies like sand in a fist, the more you try to grasp it the more it seeps out. Good times and bad times both never stay for longer, but what they leave are shadows of memories and nightmares.
6 months have passed since the unforgettable surrendering of The Chintan Singhal, the unexpected happened that day which felt like a nightmare. Things changed so much while Chintan spent his time inside, alone, trying to probably fight his demons.
'Yes TD...I have already got it signed...Yes, TD don't worry I have collected all the important documents for Chintan's Bail...' Devika's confident yet sweet voice echoed through the corridors of the court as she walked out of her cabin while talking on her phone, in her black trousers paired with a white shirt and a black coat covering it from over.
A happy smile adorned her rosy lips as she finally made her way out of the court's building. 'Yes, TD...don't worry...yeah I have called the cab, I will directly reach the main prison...' Devika ensured a worried yet excited Tushar over the phone as she hid her excitement from him.
After long six months of wait and hardship, it was finally the day when Chintan would be released from the prison not permanently but on a bail. Since the day Chintan was sentenced none of the people Tushar contacted ever sat calmly, there was continuous chaos to bring him out of the jail but he always failed due to Chintan's behavior.
Devika sat in the cab that arrived just outside the main gate of the court as soon as she stepped out. With a lot of effort, she finally put down Tushar's phone making excuses to him, and calming him down, no one would have been more excited for the news than the Dewan couple, who have been anxiously waiting for this day to arrive.
Devika sighed deeply as she tossed her phone next to her on the vacant seat as she finally decided to use the quiet time to do something crucial. She pulled out the file out of her black bag and started to go through the file, checking if she had taken everything or missed anything by chance. As soon as she thought she will finally have the peace and quiet to herself her phone rang once again. Groaning internally she looked at the caller's Id, only to regret her groan as it was Indrani. She instantly answered it.
'Hello Bua' she greeted in a bubbly manner only to be thrown the same exact question on her that was thrown by Tushar just in a more caring manner 'Dev...did you take all the documents...are you sure today he wil-' Before Indrani could compete she was discontinued by Devika, who knew it was better to calm her down before she could throw another question at her face 'Bua, Bua...don't worry I have taken everything...haven't missed a thing...' She replied softly with a smile. She looked out of the window as she continued 'don't worry bua your Chintu will be before your eyes sooner than you think...' Indrani chuckled listening to him being called by the name he hates being called out the most. She sniffled and rubbed her tears away nodding with a happy smile 'Thank you Dev...y-' 'bua you don't need to thank me...I am just doing what anyone would do...' She paused as she noticed the prison nearing 'Bua I am nearing the prison now, I will catch up with you later when I will bring Chintan with me...'
