Chapter Twenty Seven - A Homunculus' Kiss (WARNING...LOVEYDOVEY STUFF AHEAD)

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

"Nooo" Erin moaned, feeling around her bedside table blindly, trying to switch the annoying buzzing off. The annoying buzzing was her iPod, ringing to tell her it was the start of a new school day, after it only 4 days of school before end of term. Before holidays. Erin's finger hit the switch, shutting up the device. She smiled and closed her eyes, drifting back to sleep when,

"ERIN! UP UP UP YOU'LL BE LATE FOR SCHOOL AGAIN!" Edward shouted into her doorway as he passed her room on the way down to the kitchen. Erin mumbled something colourful into her pillow and slowly rose from the bed, kicking the bedsheets off herself.

"There are nicer ways to wake a girl up in the morning Elric!"

The girl could not be more bothered, and threw a random yellow vest on, along with her favourite blue skirt and white boots. She quickly gathered her long violet hair into the typical pony tail she always wore, grabbed her bag and thundered down the stairs to give Ed a piece of her mind. Mornings really pissed her off.

"Edward, do that again and I will hit you" she snarled, grabbing a slice of toast and shoving it into the toaster.

"Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed" Al muttered under his breath. Since lived in the same house as his friend for a long time, he learnt to steer clear of Erin's explosive mood swings until she cooled down herself, that or someone poured a bucket of ice over her head.

"Didn't get enough sleep?" Winry asked, taking a sip of the orange juice she'd just poured herself.

"No. And you did?" Erin replied, impatiently waiting by the toaster for her bread. As soon as it popped she whisked it onto a plate, spreading peanut butter over the top. "After all, we were all up after midnight because of Dawn and her stupid ideas"

"We best get going" Edward said after a long uncomfortable pause between the four housemates. He got up from the table and slung his bag over his automail shoulder, heading for the front door.

"Ed, your milk!" Winry yelled, coming after him.

"I AM NOT DRINKING VOMIT!"

.

.

"Hey Al? Anything memorable happen last night?"

"Hi Greed. No, apart from you making us look for your date in the dark parking lot at 12 am, nothing much" Al gave a straight forward answer, not bothering to look up from the Alchemy book he had his nose in.

"No!" Greed laughed. "I mean with you and Jayme"

"Oh" The blond haired boy blushed, this time glancing up from the text. "N-nothing much. Me and Jayme are just really good friends as all-"

Edward's fist came flying, punching his brother hard in the shoulder.

"Ow!"

"Don't give me that crap Al! I saw you two eat each other's faces!"

Al's jaw dropped. He quickly buried his beet red face back into the pages of his text book as Greed gave a loud wolf whistle.

Mustang pranced into the room, obviously quite happy with something. He threw the papers in his hand onto the teacher's desk and look at the class, clapping and rubbing his hands together.

"Hello class!" he cheerily announced to his students. Everybody was quiet as the usually were when their tutor walked into the room, knowing they would suffer 4 degree burns if they talked.
