Chapter Twenty Two - Love Potion

The gym hall was almost ready for the School Dance, but it seemed already prepared to Erin, like if she added one more streamer or bit of confetti the whole place would look over the top. But according to her head teacher, it needed more. 

And so, Erin had to miss a science lesson with the funniest teacher to decorate the decorations decorating the gym. It was so unfair and frustrating. At least all this time away from her teachers and lessons Erin had a chance to come up with some way to get rid of Brad on the night of the dance..

"What on god's green earth are you doing Mimi?!" Alphones exclaimed as he watched the red head drop random chemicals and powders into the large test tube in front of her. She didn't stop, just grinned and looked up at her group member. Havoc had put the class into fives and handed out a sheet with instructions for an experiment they had to conduct. They were straightforward and so easy even Gluttony understood them, but didn't realise the instruction sheet wasn't food until it was too late. Being the rebel that she is, Mimi decided to ignore the guidelines of the safe investigation and literally...experiment.

"Let her do what she wants Nerd!" Brad protected Mimi, only for the chance to insult Al. 

"Let her do what she wants? She's gonna blow up the whole frikkin' school!" Envy took Al's side, worried Mimi might conjure up a mixture more dangerous then she would have wanted to, judging by the amount of toxic and risky chemicals she was dumping into the test tube. The liquid began to bubble furiously.

"Oh dear" Dawn crossed her arms and waited for the explosion. None came, but instead the glass of the large test tube started to crack and Mimi's curious chemical potion spewed over the top. A majority of the class huddled around to watch what was going on. 

"This is what happens when you don't follow the rules set Mimi!" Al scolded his group member. Mimi giggled at the funky broth in the tube. With a sudden bang, the glass shattered and the liquid, which was now deep pink, sprayed all over Dawn and the table top. Students squealed and staggered back, a few laughing at the wacky results. 

"Mimi you son of a bitch!" Dawn shouted, fuming. Not only was the mixture scalding hot, it was also a soup of countless chemicals, god knows what effect they would have on her body. 

"Erin is missing out!" Edward told Winry as Dawn angrily wiped the pink gunk off her face. She suddenly felt tingly inside, almost....happy. Her mood started to brighten, her dark aura swept away. A wide smile spread across her face, not the typically evil one you would see plastered to her lips, but a friendly, excided one.

"That was so cool Mimi! Do it again, maybe you could teach me!" 

Everyone's jaws dropped at how nice Dawn became. The chemical Mimi mixed up was powerful stuff.

'Done.' Erin thought to herself as she stood back to admire the gym. She had been moving things about and playing with the arrangments of dangling streamers, spiders and bats. Quite frankly, her finishing touches made the place look much more pleasing to the eye, and she wouldn't hesitate to brag about it. After all, she was pulled out of a practical science lesson to do this, so she had to be proud of it. Now her only problems were choosing what to wear to the dance and how to rid herself of the parasite Brad. She had two dates, even if one was unwanted. But nevertheless, there was no backing out of neither, so Erin just had to roll with it and use her crafty mind.

"The hall looks great Erin" Mustang came in to inspect the finished gym. Erin smiled at her work.

"Thanks sir" 

She was much more comfortable around her tutor, even if she was a little scared of him and his gloves. He only set hell loose on the misbehaving kids, so as long as she was a good student she would never be at the recieving end of Mustang's Alchemy...Unless he was pissed for some other reason. 

"School is ending in 20 minutes, and I think I can let you off this once since you've worked hard to get this place ready" 

Erin looked up and her teacher and lit up.

"Really?"

Mustang smiled and nodded. "Go on, get home and find yourself something pretty to wear for tonight" 

"Thank you teach!" Erin grinned and grabbed her bag, dashing out of the gym, eager to get home before  everyone else, even her flat mates.

Alright, the 'love potion' was all @awesomness87 's idea, so go ask her!! Mimi basically didnt do as she was told and the mix turned dawn into a nice girl who helps old ladies cross the street and shit like that. POOR DAWN, WHEN SHE SNAPS OUT OF IT SHE WILL RUIN THAT SCHOOL DANCE *slaps hand over mouth* whoops spoiler alert. its such a silly idea, the potion and it has nothing to do with FMA but who cares, this is MAH fanfic and I do what I want! XDDD with my friend's ideas..but not all of them because if it were up to her she would probably make Dawn destroy Mimi and Hawkeye physically and metally, then kill envy in the most inhumane way and bathe in his blood. Im sure that is 100% true.
