Chapter Thirty Two - Game On (FINAL CHAPTER)

Dawn yawned, she opened one eye lazily. Her mind was still away in the land of dreams, and she couldn't find the will to move. She yawned again.

"Where the heck am I..." She murmured, opening both eyes with effort. Dawn blinked a few times to clear the blurry image that was her sight, when the picture cleared she found herself gasping in surprise.

"I fell asleep at Edward's?" She asked herself. The story wasn't a long or interesting one. They all got so tired after staying up past twelve not only Dawn but the rest of Erin's friends ended up having a spontaneous sleep over. Dawn was no exception.

The female homunculus tried to move, finding a something heavy weighing her down in the arm chair she sat on. She glanced down.

"WHAT THE F-"

"No...just five more minutes..." The green haired homunculus muttered and turned onto his side to face Dawn's chest as he dozed away on her lap. He reached out in his slumber and slapped his hand over the girl's face. Dawn cringed and shoved him off herself. Envy hit the ground with a thud and woke up almost immediately.

"Wut...duuuhh?..." He sleepily made some sort of noise that vaguely resembled something else, making himself sound 'oh so very clever'. Dawn brushed her legs off with her hand.

"Don't ever sleep on me again" she scrunched up her face, as if she was really disgusted at the thought. She kicked Envy with her foot, too tired to get off the chair to hit him harder.

"We're still in the goodie goodie gang's house..." She informed the other homunculus.

"Then let me sleep..." Envy yawned. Dawn propped her head up, setting her elbow down on the arm rest on the armchair, and glared down at him. She continued to prod him in the stomach with her cold toes.

"SINS DON'T SLEEP."

Someone ram down the stairs, it sounded like a thunder storm was coming down into the loving room. Dawn glanced towards the doorway, to see Edward's face peer through the doorway. His blond hair was not done up in his signature braid, instead it fell loose over his shoulders and framed his face. His antenna was still straight and standing up. Dawn looked away quickly.

"What time is it?" She snapped.

"Late" Ed answered, keeping his body hidden behind the wall. "I came to get you guys off your asses, we're all late for school, and Dawn, don't you have to go practice for the game?"

"Oh dammit!" The dark girl snarled and threw herself back into the armchair, she felt it rock back and almost tip over. She steadied herself, holding both arm rests she made herself look like a super villain. "Why didn't you wake me earlier shrimp?"

"I just got up!" Ed retorted, leaning out into the doorway. "And don't call me Shrimp!" He stormed off into the kitchen. Dawn crossed her arms and huffed, she puffed a breath out at a loose strand of hair annoying her. She caught Envy staring at her from the floor.

"What?!"

"I bet you'd want him to fall asleep on top of you..." He laughed with a wide smile adorning his face. Dawn growled at him and got up, she grabbed his jiggly top.

"I dare you, say that again! You're gonna go to school today without any teeth!"

"Alright alright! Don't hit me!"

"Everything alright in here?" Erin smiled and looked into the room. Dawn just about had enough of the unexpected visitors and lookers in. She stood and deliberately stepped onto Envy's gut before walking out past Erin.
