Chapter Seven

Chapter Seven - Exam

Erin, Al, Ed and Winry were all late for Biology, and so far the only one loosing his cool was Al.

"We're gonna be late! And we have an EXAM!"

"don't lose your marbles Al, it's not like we have Hawkeye for Biology!" Winry told him, almost turning the wrong corner. The four students finally got to the door and gingerly came in, one by one. Unfortunately for them, Miss Hawkeye was waiting in the room as they walked in. Edward hung his head, trying to escape her cold gaze. 

"You four" 

The friends stopped and turned to face Hawkeye, who had one hand on her hips, the other on her holstered gun. 

"Whats your excuse for being late? I am sure you are perfectly aware of the time this lesson starts"

"We, um-" Winry started, unable to think up of a decent excuse. "We..."

"I left my Biology book in my locker" Erin lied, trying to keep an honest face as she did so. The menacing teacher raised an eyebrow, suspicious at the fact that all four pupils came late to a lesson because only one forgot her book. Instead of going on about the subject, Hawkeye nodded and let them take their seats. Erin made her way to her seat next to her green haired crush, but found Mimi sitting in her place. Being new, Mimi was still unaware of the fact it was Erin's seat, so she didn't quite understand what she had done when Erin frowned slightly and made her way to the back of the class, taking the only seat left, next to Sloth. Edward had to sit next to Dawn again since his younger brother would cut him no slack and dashed to the seat next to Lust. Winry was sat next to Erin, with whom she exchanged a disappointed glance.

"As you all know, Havoc is away today so that means i will be taking this class" Hawkeye continued as all her students were sat down. "You may also know that you have an important exam today"

There were slight groans from unhappy people in the class, which was about 99% (excluding Al). Hawkeye picked up the neat pile of freshly printed test papers and started walking around the classroom, handing them out while going through the rules of an exam with a monotone. Edward kicked Dawn's leg under the table by accident, and froze with fear as she glared at him with her piercing purple eyes. 

"Don't touch what you can't afford, pipsqueak" she stated, her voice sounding malicious and dangerous. Ed normally would have burst into a temper tantrum if anyone ever called him 'pipsqueak', but Dawn was so scary he just gulped and whimpered, edging his stool further away from her. She just flashed him a grin, amused at how scared he was, and turned back to the front as Hawkeye came to them with the papers. Edward could not help but sigh in relief. 

"Good luck dudette" Mimi whispered to Envy as Hawkeye was finishing the handout. "You'll need it" 

"Excuse me?" he hissed at the new girl. Hawkeye came back around the class as she had finished handing out the exam papers and slapped the back of Envy's head rather hard.

"No talking during an exam" 

Envy rubbed the back of his head and shot Hawkeye a hard stare that clearly stated 'i-want-to-kill-you' when she wasn't looking. Mimi giggled quietly, finding Envy more funny than evil. 

"You have one hour starting now" Hawkeye told the class. "If i catch anyone talking they will get an immediate zero. You may begin"

this chapter is not all that bad...poor havoc. he was probably beaten into a coma when he tried hitting on Hawkeye or Dawn... XD and as for Mimi........i dont think she and envy are gonna get along,  and i am seriously RESISTING the urge to start pairing Dawn and Edward together just to make Winry jealous and piss awesomness87 off XDDD (Dawn is her OC) toodeloo for now ^^
