Chapter Two – Dodge ball

A demonic looking figure stood in the doorway, the ends of a long black trench coat swirling around her feet. Her hair was spiky and pointing upwards, like that of some crazy scientist. Her eyes were the same colour as Envy's, only filled with much more mischief and something else that looked quite evil. She strode into the classroom as if it were her palace courtyard, a little black cat flying behind her. Wait, a flying CAT? Everyone kept so quiet that Erin had thought it was their supply tutor, or another teacher that had come to silence them up. Edward saw how confused his friend was, and pointed out;

"That there is Dawn. Don't tell me you have never seen her around school!"

"I haven't." Erin confessed. "And why is everyone so afraid of her?"

"Alright everyone, don't keep me waiting!" Dawn didn't even have to raise her voice to get everyone to line up in a straight line in front of her. All the other students in the class seemed to shove to get into the back, not front of the queue. Erin turned her head and was surprised to see her four best friends in the line, cowering like the rest.

"W-what?" Erin hadn't the foggiest clue of what was going on. Dawn suddenly turned to look at her. Her icy cold stare was inescapable. She just stood there, glaring at poor Erin before talking, in a very quiet and dangerous voice.

"And why aren't you in line?"

"I…err…" Erin didn't know how to answer the question asked to her. She looked to her right and couldn't find Envy.

"GET IN THE LINE!!!" Dawn's roar echoed through Erin's head like it had been spoken right into her ear through a megaphone.

"If I were you I'd get in the line before she eats your soul." Erin heard a familiar voice tickle her ear. Her head spun around. Envy stood next to her, crossed arms. Erin listened to him, and did as she was told.

"You should listen to the palm tree!" Dawn taunted.

"I AM NOT A PALM TREE!!!" Envy yelled at the top of his voice at Dawn. She just laughed.

"That reminds me palm tree, you owe me 20 quid"

"Since when?"

"Since last year, stupid!"

In the line in front of Dawn, the student's heads flew there and back between Envy, Dawn, Envy, Dawn. Erin could feel the atmosphere in the room tense and get filled with negative energy, as to speak, as if a storm, or in this case, a serious fight between a cute palm tree and a demon girl, was coming. Then, everything went by in a flash. Envy's fist shot out at Dawn's face. The class starts chanting 'FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!'. Dawn gets back up, wiping the corner of her mouth with her sleeve.

"My turn!" she smirked.

The door to the classroom suddenly banged again, only this time an actual teacher came in. Erin sighed a secret sigh of relief. It wasn't every day she was this happy to see Roy Mustang, their gym teacher. He just stood there in the door way, looking like an evil spirit himself, his fingers in a clicking position.

"What is the meaning of this?" he asked in a dangerously calm tone. All the students, including Erin, her friends and even the Demon girl Dawn sat raced around the class to their seats and complete silence took over the room once again. Mustang's expression suddenly changed from scary to happy in less than a split second.

"Good morning class!" he addressed the class cheerfully. Erin and Winry exchanged uneasy glances.

"As you all know your first lesson is Gym class, so take your kits and let's get to the gym!" he seemed a bit too happy for himself.
