Days of isolation after having Amara wasn't so different than what Christabel had believed it would be. Amara was a beautiful baby, with the same color blonde hair as her mother, beautiful blue eyes, an adorable button nose, and rosy cheeks that were so chubby. Christabel wished her brother was at Hogwarts, that way he could meet his niece, but sadly there was still seven weeks until the others would be back at school. Those seven weeks would give Christabel just enough time to recover before she would have to walk back and forth to classes, food, and her dorm everyday.

The day after Amara was born, Christabel had sent a letter to Draco to let him know about his niece. He was over the moon, but he wouldn't admit that he had cried when he realized he wouldn't be able to meet his niece until she was almost two months old. He missed being able to see his sister everyday. She was his biggest supporter, but now she was gone. Well, gone from home, but either way she was still gone. He missed her more and more each day, her having her baby just made him miss her more than he had already.

Draco had informed their mother, Narcissa Malfoy, about the birth of Amara after he had replied to his sister's letter. Narcissa was proud of her daughter, but didn't show any joy to the news around Lucius. Draco knew their mother was happy to have her first grandchild, but he also knew their father was more than angry about the baby. He hated his father for it, but he knew he couldn't show his distaste, otherwise he'd be punished and he hated being punished, almost as much as he hated watching his sister be punished so many times before she had left and started living in Hogwarts.

Christabel had recieved quite a few letters from the twins, asking her to come to the Burrow for a week or so, but she had to decline. She had to lie and say her family would not allow it, even though she knew that now they wouldn't care. She was almost positive that her father had disowned her, but she wasn't quite sure. She would've agreed to go to the Burrow, if it wasn't for the little secret she had currently sleeping in a bassinet near her bed closest towards the window. She knew Amara would love to look out at the moon and stars, same as she had since she was a little girl.

Christabel still felt as if she was a little girl, but with a grown girl's responsibility. She loved her daughter, but nonetheless she missed her life before she had gotten pregnant. She was honestly surprised at how well she had kept the pregnancy a secret from the twins, since they were so observant when it came to her, even Lee was, but he tried not to call attention too much. Lee Jordan, a friend of the twins and Christabel, wasn't as close to her as the twins, so he feared to accidentally insult her; not because she might tell her father, but because he felt he was taught better respect that to even accidentally insult a girl.

"Mistress Malfoy, 'tis lunch time. What would you like for Zainy to bring her mistress?" The house elf, Zainy, Narcissa had gotten for Christabel, asked, as she appeared in the room.

"Meat pie would be lovely, Zainy," Christabel replied, and Zainy nodded.

"Very well, mistress. Zainy will bring meat pie," She replied, before disappearing once more.

Christabel was quite fond of Zainy. She remembered how terrible her family had treated the house elves at the manor, but Christabel never treated them with such malice. Matter of fact, Christabel was quite nice to all of the house elves, which was why Zainy seemed to love working for her as well. Christabel wished she could've taken one of the house elves from the manor as well, mostly to rescue them from the hatred they recieved, but her mother didn't let her, since her father would never allow such an event to happen.

Zainy popped back in the room soon after with meat pie and pumpkin juice. Christabel thanked the house elf, before she began to eat the lunch that was prepared for her. Once she was finished, the house elf collected her dishes and brought them to the kitchen to clean them. After eating, Christabel stood from her bed and picked up Amara. For now, Amara was going to be breast fed, but as soon as she began to grow teeth, Christabel would switch her to bottles only. She knew it would be an inconvenience for her with her classes, but she made sure to have plenty of time between classes to feed her daughter, she just hoped the twins never caught on to why she would be disappearing quite often.

Looking down at her small daughter, she couldn't keep the small smile off of her face. Even though her baby was the reason she was shunned from her home and may lose all of her friends, she still loved the small girl with all of her heart. She was honestly glad she hadn't listened to her father and gone through with getting rid of Amara. The moment she had found out she was pregnant, she knew she'd love the baby, even though not many people were happy about it.

Caressing the small girl's cheek, she felt as though she could see her future. She knew Amara would bring great things, even in the upcoming months. This tiny girl would be the reason she was finally happy. She wondered if she'd ever find someone to love her and Amara, but she shook the thought away as soon as it had surfaced in her mind. She didn't need a man in her life and neither did Amara. Christabel would give Amara the best life she could have, even if she was alone during the process. Amara was the most important person in her life, along with her brother Draco...
