Some time had gone by, and it seemed things were going back to normal in Grimmauld Place—or as normal as they could be. More and more attacks were being documented, and the Order had started having meetings in Grimmauld Place. They didn't have proof of You-Know-Who being back, but the Death Eaters were being more violent than normal. Dumbledore was sure the Dark Lord was back, and Christabel believed him, but she never wanted to put her complete faith in the power-hungry old man.
Christabel and Bill had talked more and more about Bill coming back home to be closer to her and Amara. He was worried that they would be hurt because of the Death Eaters, and he wanted to protect them. He knew Sirius was protecting them, but he didn't want to put too much pressure on the man's shoulders, especially since the man couldn't even go out in public without chancing being put back in Azkaban.
After weeks of discussion, Bill had made his final decision. He was coming back to stay, so he could protect the ones he loved. This way, he could also be a part of the Order meetings, instead of having to get encrypted letters from his mother or father about them later. He knew it would mean one less encrypted letter for them to send out, since they still had to send one to Charlie in Romania.
Mrs. Weasley had been thrilled when she recieved the news that Bill was coming home. They had one more day until he'd arrive. He just had to finish with whatever work he had in Egypt before coming home. He also wanted to say goodbye to his friends, and he wanted to make sure he and his best friend would be able to stay in contact, and maybe see each other again soon.
Mr. and Mrs. Weasley had been unsure at first, but they decided that they'd allow Bill to stay in the bedroom with Christabel and Amara. They figured with Amara in the room, Bill and Christabel would be unable to do anything even a bit sexual. Obviously, they didn't say anything about that outloud to Christabel, but she knew that was their concern.
Sirius hadn't even thought about Bill and Christabel being intimate in their room together. Honestly, he knew what kind of person he was as a teenager, and he could tell Christabel wasn't like him, and Bill was a bit older, so he wasn't going to be like that anymore. Obviously, both would have some sexual tension, but nothing compared to what it would be like if Christabel had been with one of the twins instead.
Since Bill was coming home soon, and he was going to be staying in the room with her, Christabel had to make the bed bigger. She was glad she had already decorated the room how she wanted it, otherwise she would've had to move things around a lot more. Once she had made the bed larger, she added the small part back to the bed that was where Amara slept. It was similar to a baby bed, but it connected to hers, so she could rollover and take care of Amara, instead of having to get out of bed and stumble around the room to get to her.
If she needed something, she could summon it, so it was easier to have Amara laying near her. Christabel had learned her lesson when she tripped over one of her two chairs trying to get to Amara in the middle of the night, which was why Amara now slept practically in the same bed with her.
Christabel hadn't changed the color of the room, since the room had belonged to Sirius's brother. The only thing she changed was the mattress, bedding, and a few furniture items. She hadn't wanted to change much, since she didn't want to upset Sirius.
The sooner night came, Christabel began to feel nervous. She had slept with Bill living in another room, but never when he was practically living with her. In a way, it was him moving in with her, and it made her tummy fill with butterflies. She wasn't necessarily nervous about how the others would react, it was more her own nerves of him being there.
She worried that she may sleep talk and bother him. There was always a chance she could get violent in her sleep, and accidentally hurt him. She was worried that he wouldn't like having Amara sleeping so close to them, or that Amara would keep him up for hours at night, when he needed rest for work. She was also worried about being rather ugly when she first woke up, but she knew there really wasn't much she could do about that.
She would never call Amara a burden, so if Bill felt burdened by the small child, he would have to leave. Christabel was not changing around her daughter's sleeping arrangements for the man, even if she really loved him. He may have been very important to her, but nobody came before Amara, not even Bill or Draco.
Thinking about Draco made the girl miss him. She hadn't heard from him in a while, but she had a feeling it was Umbridge's fault. From what she had been hearing from the twins, Umbridge caused a lot of problems at Hogwarts, even ones they never had to deal with before. Honestly, if Christabel was still a student when Umbridge came to Hogwarts, she probably would've hexed the woman a few times.
Christabel hoped Draco would send her another letter soon, at least to prove that he was fine, or even just alive at this point. She often asked about him when writing to the twins, but the twins could only tell her so much. Draco hated them—he hated all of the Weasleys, so he wouldn't tell them anything even if they asked. Christabel was sure that Draco would eventually change the way he felt about the Weasleys, she just wasn't sure what it would take to change his mind...
