Atlas, Em, Seren^^^
September 7th
Atlas's POV
Fuck, it's like a zoo... "Ivy! Iris! Are you ready to go" I shout across the rooms at the two girls who were now passed out on the couch. Ivy stirs a bit and sits up giving me a thumbs up, wiping some drool from her mouth.
I rub the bridge of my nose as she flips back onto the couch with a yawn. I'm assuming Imani and Isla are still asleep in their beds... Emerald... "Em!" I shout cupping my hands, and the angry teen comes tumbling out of the kitchen.
"What do you wanttt" she shouts, aggressively taking a bite out of her apple. "You ready for school?" I ask and she nods walking back into the kitchen. "Se-" before I can finish she cuts me off. "Yes I'm ready" she sighs sitting on the couch. I make a mocking face at her attitude before returning to find Lyra.
"Lyra" I call getting no answer. I grumble to myself running down the hall till I make it to her room. Knocking, the door is quickly opened. "I can't tie it" she whispers discouraged.
"Hey don't worry... I'll do it right now, but once we get home... I'll teach you okay," I tell her squatting down to fix her now knotted tie. She nods wiping a stray tear from her eye.
"Don't you cry about something so silly it's fine" I reassure her wiping the rest of the tears off her face. She nods jumping into my arms for a hug about knocking me off my balance.
"Now get something to eat from Emerald!" I jokingly shout making her run away with a laugh. Walking down the hall with a yawn I look around for the last child. Emerson slept with papa and dad last night so those two should be passed out and dad's at work already.
Papa hasn't been feeling the best lately... I feel bad for him because I can tell he feels guilty having to stay in bed all day and not being to help out with the others. But when you have 5 kids who love you dearly and dad.... he knows we will not be letting him leave that bed till he feels better.
Once I reach the common room I look up to see Asher coming down the stairs. He rubbed his eyes exhausted as I waited at the bottom for him. "Did you take your medicine?" I ask once he got to the bottom.
He groans lying his head on my chest. "I don't wanna.... it tastes bad" he whines hugging me. I rub his back sighing. "Ash you have to take it... it helps you" I whisper looking down at him.
"Will you make the smoothie" he pouts looking up from my chest. "Fine but we have to be quick, go get your pills and stuff, so I can put them in" I give in immediately to his adorable face.
He smiles bouncing back up the stairs as I go to the kitchen to prepare his smoothie. The only thing I can make that forces him to take his medicine. I just don't understand why he doesn't take them.
Does he want to die.... doesn't he understand that not taking his stuff could kill him. I'm met in the kitchen with Emerald dramatically laying across the counter putting on a concert for Lyra who was trying not to spit her oatmeal out.
Ignoring them I grab the bananas cutting them up into pieces before throwing them into a bowl. Adding other things such as milk, nutmeg, and even oats I use my wand to blend it all before pouring it into a cup.
Just as I do the door burst open with an out-of-breath Asher. He quickly hurried over handing me his prescriptions. "Did you run over here?" I ask sternly.
He hesitated before shaking his head no. "You better not" I smile looking over at him. He quickly looks away and I put each pill needed in the drink before adding the special healing Herb Ophelia told him to eat in his food.
Once's that's down I blend it again with a charm and hand it to Asher. "One banana smoothie for you" I smile. He happily takes it licking his lip. "Okay everybody out in the common room... we are leaving in 10 minutes!" I shout going back into 'momma' mode or that's what everybody has been saying lately.
Em groans before sliding off the table as Lyra quickly tried to scoop up the last of her oatmeal. My sister now trudging out of the room. Running a hand through my hair I take a deep breath.
I watch Asher attempt to suck down his drink and I pat his head before giving him a quick kiss- on the head of course "take your time... you too Lyra I don't want you getting a stomach ache" I warn them walking out of the room.
"Ibis! Iby" one of the younger twins shouts making Em groan. I look over to the older twins who quickly wake, knocking each other off the couch. Iris jolts up before walking around spotting the redhead "Isla baby come here" Iris shouts running over to her.
Isla yawns waddling her way over to her older sister. "Let's take you back to bed" Ivy joins in while Iris picks up her sleepy sister. The younger girl rubs her eyes as her sisters take her back to bed.
I'm assuming Uncle B is already at work, and Ron is probably passed out. All three toddlers had nightmares last night it was just... great. I swear this is all so chaotic... I just want to slam my head against a wall until I knock myself out.
"Hey... are you okay," a timid voice asks as arms wrap around me from behind. I turn around to Asher smiling at me sweetly. I almost instantly calm down taking some slow deep breaths.
"I'm okay thank you Ash" I whisper smiling down at him. "Did you finish all of it?" I ask looking over to to the kitchen door. "I did" he smiles proudly. I nod looking back to him "so if I go in and check the cup it will be empty" I smirk and he continues to nod.
"Perfect" I tease making eye contact with him. His arms stay locked around my back as I lay my hand over his shoulder. I swear it takes everything I have to not just kiss this boy.
"Would you all just fuck already" Em shouts making me mentally facepalm. Asher's eyes go wide and he quickly shoved his now flustered face into my chest. "Emerald Malfoy" I yell back to her as she puts a hand to her mouth pretending to be hurt.
"Ooo he used your full name" Seren snickers to herself as the others burst into small chuckles of laughter. "So are your dads at work" I ask tracing the alphabet onto his back.
He giggles at my touch nodding "yeah they have a new item to test out" he mumbles as I nod in response. By now the twins were back and we were just waiting forrr... "I finished!" Lyra cheered jumping out of the kitchen with a toothy smile.
"And did you put the dish in the sink" I send her a knowing stare. Her smile falters a bit and she takes a step back into the kitchen before running back out "of course I did" she cheers.
The rest of the room chuckles again as I roll my eyes making a goofy face at her. Lyra sticks her tongue out at me and I let out a hurt gasp. She giggles running to the door where Herb was perched against the wall sleeping.
He shifts waking up as Lyra pulls him into a hug. "Good morning friend!" She sings. He hugs back-patting her back. "Friend!" He hums.
I smile moving away from Asher a split second to hug my first friend as well knowing how happy it would make him. He instantly lit up as I walked over squatting down with my arms open.
Herb cheers while we hug before running back to the door now wide awake. I stand beside the door listening to the carriages arrive. "Ivy, Iris, and Emerald! Carriage 1 don't destroy anything this time..." I watch as they all snicker evilly which just worries me more.
"Seren, Lyra, and Asher with me in Carriage 2" I continue pointing to the person whose name is called out. They all seem to nod okay with the seating arrangements I made.... finally no bickering.
With everything said and done I point to the door. Herb quickly opens it and everybody moves for the door saying our goodbyes to him on the way out. I make it one step out the door when the tiny pitter patter of footsteps coming my way.
"Botha"
