Asher's POV

"So you're going home... today's practice is just making me captain since Henkel is graduating... it won't be long?" Atlas asks dropping me off at his Dad's class.  I nod and he gives me a questioning look.  "Okay then, I've got to get to practice, I love you" he whispers looking around before leaving a small kiss on my head.  "I love you too, I'll see you later" I giggle, he turns and runs down the hall.

Thomas turns the corner walking right by him and I wave, kinda nervous.  I'm just starting to realize how nerve-wracking this is.  "Hey what's up" he smiles as I rock back on my heels.  "I was just waiting for you, now we can head to the front if you want," I ask and he nods.  Both of us turn and make our way down the empty hall.  "I can't believe I didn't know you lived outside of Hogwarts, it makes sense now why I can never find you in the common room" he laughs as I chuckle.

"You have a floo correct" he adds and I nod. "yeah in the common room, it's funny because we don't use it a lot" I ramble a bit.  "Okay well as long as you have one, because that's my ticket home, well I'll probably floo to Hogsmeade and walk up here" he smiles the front doors opening to reveal the two carriages. "OOOO Ashers got a man!" "don't let Atlas see" the twins shout sticking their heads out of the carriage.

I get a strange glance from Thomas, "meet my cousins" I groan as they raise their eyebrows up and down at us.  "you live with the Zabini's wait doesn't that mean.... ohhhh that makes so much more sense" He laughs as the door to the other carriage opens revealing a giggly Lyra. "Seren is in here too, because she thinks it will be calmer in here" she calls and I nod.

I step into the carriage Thomas coming in behind me. Lyra bounced excitedly as Thomas sat next to me. "These are my cousins... Lyra and Seren" I point to them with a giggle. Lyra waves and Seren looks the boy up and down.

"Hello I'm Thomas" he smiles waving to them.  The ride back seemed to go by quick as three of us talked amongst each other. Seren stayed mostly quietly sending glances to Thomas, it didn't take long to understand that she didn't trust him.

Until a sudden jolt, the big signal we have arrived home. Lyra jumps up opening the door. "Freedom!" She shouts already running to the wide-open door. Emerald wasn't far behind her yelling "fuck school!"

Shaking my head at my family, I walk next to Thomas to the door. "This is Herb" I quickly introduce him "Herb this is my... friend Thomas" I wasn't sure if could call him that but he didn't interrupt me.

"Woah your home is beautiful" he stares in awe as I nod, I've lived here my whole life I've never seen anything else really. "Well technically it's Uncle Drays," I say and he nods. "Still you live here"

All the girls were now staring at us and I couldn't help, but feel awkward "here let's go to my room" I whisper getting surprised eyes from in return. "Lead the way" he smiles a goofy grin.

I grab his wrist and pull him up the stairs still feeling all eyes on us. Going past the empty halls to my room I open the door to my tidy safe place, I close it behind us letting my bag drop to the floor.

Sitting on my bed with a huff, Thomas sits next to me looking around. "I'm incredibly sorry, I suck at this I've never had anybody over" I mumble, he places a hand on my leg.  "Hey it's fine, we can just enjoy each other's company you know get to know each other" he stares into my eyes and I nod feeling fine with that plan.

He leans forward a bit going to ask the first question.  The door swings open cutting him off "hey, I tried to be as fast as I can, are you okay b- who is that!?" Atlas rambles until he looks up to see us.
