For everyone that wants me to stop the things with Asher, I have a plan. I can't just ruin the story by skipping chapters and going straight to it. I'm sorry if it makes you uncomfortable. As someone who has had many things done to me, I hope if you are going through things or did you got the help you needed unlike me. Thanks, I'll try to do better. Some comments have been getting to me a bit lately and it's not their fault I just overthink and get anxious and insecure, so the next chapter might be a few days. I'll try to get it out sooner though.

June 26th (same day)

Atlas's POV

I need to wake up, I can't think straight. Leaving Iris for a split second I walk to the nearest hedge touching the plants? Are they even plants their almost metallic in a way? Closing my eyes I swipe my forearm across the leaves. Letting out a shout of pain, immediately clutching my arm after. "Fuck!" I shout. That was deeper than I thought it would be.

"Atlas what the fuck!" Iris limps over now crying. I take my shirt off hiding my own tears. "The adrenaline... it's the only way I-I can stay up" I explain ripping my shirt. She stares at the hedge the leaves dressed with my blood. "Wrapping my arm as best as I could with a grunt.

I throw the rest of my shirt over my neck just in case I needed more fabric. Iris stood in front of the hedge her arm raised. Once I understood what she was doing I jump forward grabbing her arm. "No! I can take care of- care of us" I yawn. "Besides we don't even know if the pain keeps you from sleeping... as it does to me" I grumble getting a confused and tired nod.

"Listen carefully... this flower is now yours" I grab her hand placing the crushed thing onto her palm. She nods waiting for further instructions. "I need to find one as well, but we can get you out of here... first" I start to trail off. Squeezing my injury wakes me up almost immediately.

"No let's find yours first" she starts to limp in a direction only stopping to wait for me. "Iris please-" she cuts me off again with a sharp "No!... now... explain-explain the rest of this theory" she wheezes out between breaths.

"I think we need to somehow give this thing the flowers" I get a look of bewilderment from her. "What do you expect us to do! Be like here monster thing- have a flower! Hey, monster thing care to-" She attempts to knock some sense into me, but can't go on letting her eyes flutter.

"I don't feel very good" she coughs clutching her stomach. "Listen I know it all sounds stupid, but maybe, just maybe it will make sense when we see the creature" I try to reassure her. She looks up with teary eyes and continued to walk. I held her arm, practically holding her up, but she didn't need to know that.

The walk was hard every dead-end our hope of getting out shrinking. The hedges began to change again and both of us saw it. A flash of pink as the walls shifted and moved. Iris ignored how hurt she was and bolted. I was right beside her while she sobbed in pain.

The wall began to slide shut so I shoved Iris's as hard as I could causing her to tumble in. I wasn't so lucky and I slid through my arm getting stuck between the two closing hedges "Fuck! Bloody hell! Iris help" I scream as the hedge clamped down on my arm. She stares in panic before scrambling to her feet running to the flower. As soon as she picked it the walls slid apart and I fell to the ground screaming bloody murder.

The roar sounded but I couldn't care less as Iris ran over to me sobbing. "Atlas" she was hysterical at this point. "M-my shirt" I croaked out. She nodded grabbing it from my neck. Quickly wrapping it around my arm. I about passed out looking at it. The skin was shredded. I thought the other cut was bad, these were awful.

Iris pulled me into her arms as I gritted my teeth attempting to hold in my screams. "It-it will be here soon" I stutter the tears escaping from my eyes.  "Huh?" She gives me a confused sound while running her hand over my forehead and hair.
