Chapter 147 (Asher's POV)

Asher's POV

"Listen here as part of the fun people in this family we have decided to start another one of our random competitions" "because we're bored" Ivy and Iris take turns explaining.

We were outside in our usual picnic spot and I was sitting next to Em and Seren as the rest stood, already getting ready. Whenever the twins had some sort of competition in mind, everybody got competitive. Jax was here. That shows something.

"Whoever can hold the handstand the longest will win" Ivy steps forward soon followed by her twin. "First we will go 1v1 until it's the final 2 and see who wins" then Ivy takes over again. "Then we will all go at the same time and see who stays up the longest" she claps her hands together.

"Yes, I'm finally good at what we're doing!" Jax shouts throwing their arms up. "I'm out" I laugh shrugging as they all give me a pleading look. "Pleaseeeeee" Ivy begs and I look the other way.

"I'm not even going to be able to hold myself up that's just embarrassing" I explain and she nods understanding. "Are you going to try?" I ask the two next to me. Em seems to think about it before sighing.

"I want to, but I really want to make a full recovery and I don't want to tear the new skin" she grumbled and I look to Seren next. "I'm just here to watch people fall on their faces" she smiles looking up to the rest of the teens getting ready. Lyra the youngest and Atlas the oldest.

Speaking of Atlas. He walks over to me pulling me up on my feet. "I need a good luck kiss" he mumbles rocking us back and forth. "No, you don't you're going to lose to Jax" I laugh getting a hurt look.

"I mean- you got this!" I cheered pulling him down into a kiss. He smiles deepening it and I only pull away to breathe. "Good luck" I hum rubbing his cheek.

"Emmy!!! I want a good luck kiss too!" Iris whines and Em sits up behind me. "Well come here babe" she laughs and Iris bounces over, and the two locked lips.

"Kiaraaaa" Ivy calls for her girlfriend who sends her a glare. "You're my competition I'm not giving you good luck" she looks the other way getting a pout from the twin.

"Fine can I have a bad luck kiss," she asked shrugging her shoulders. "Yes you may" Kiara surrenders, both giving into the passionate kiss. "Well, Lyra... good luck high-five?" Jax asked holding out their hand.

"Sure!" Lyra cheers and both high-five. "If only my Lev was here" they sigh shaking their head sadly. "You'd be melted into a gross love-sick pile of goo" Em pulls away from Iris to laugh at them.

I give Atlas one last peck before going to sit down. "Okie then- First we will do Iris and Atlas" Seren jots the names down on her little clipboard. "Let's go, baby! You got this!" Em cheers for her girlfriend as my boyfriend sends me a wink.

"You got this Atlas!" I cheer raising a fist, rooting for him. He smiles at this as both getting ready to go. "1" "2" "3. Go" Seren shouts and both fall forward onto their hands.

Iris has straighter legs, hers slightly bent. Atlas's legs were completely folded over yet he was still able to keep himself up. He stumbled around a bit as Iris bent and straighten her arms.

She ultimately gave up rolling forward and standing. Atlas fell back onto his feet and starting rolling his wrist. "Looks like I'm moving on" he cheers walking over with a big head.

"Yours was way prettier and the ending was way better" Em encourages her girlfriend who was face first on the blanket we were sitting on. Atlas sat next to me as Seren started writing stuff down. "Lyra and Ivy" Seren smiles as Lyra groans.

"I'm going to lose" she whines and Em chuckles. "I thought you were more excited to finally be allowed in our competitions" Iris laughs as the two line up. "Angel" Atlas coos and I turn to look at him.

"I need my good luck for the next round" he continues patting his lap. I crawl into his lap giving him a small peck before looking to the two about to go. "1" "2" "3. Go" Seren shouts to them and both go up. Both Ivy and Lyra had pretty good form. Lyra leaned back and forth a bit more.

"Let's go, partner!" Jax shouts followed by Kiara. "You got this! At the same time fall!" She shouts laughing which made Lyra burst into laughter and come down on her knees. "I'm too giggly for this" she giggles as her brother chuckles behind me.

Wrapping his arms around my stomach he stopped to kiss the back of my head. "The breeze is nice" he hums and I lay my head on his chest to look up at him. "Yeah" I smile enjoying it.

"So now we have Kiara and Jax" Seren informs us. "There is no point in me getting up" Kiara whines while standing up. I laugh at my friend as Jax cracks their knuckles. "Who even invited them" Atlas shouted and nobody said anything. "I come as I please" they shout back. "Anyways... 3... 2... 1. Go" Seren grows bored and waves them off.

Jax practically hops into a perfect handstand as Kiara surprises us popping up into one with just as good of form. "Where did this come from!" I shout cheering my friend on. Jax shows off moving onto one hand for a minute before going back onto two.

Kiara splits her legs into a split, and somebody makes a choking noise behind me. I turn to see Ivy. "Should have told me you were flexible" she laughs and this causes Kiara to start swaying side to side holding in her remark. "Give up now Kiara" they smirk turning on their hands.

She moves her legs and kicks him square in the back causing him to faceplant. Atlas was dying of laughter as Kiara popped back up and immediately stormed over to her girlfriend.

"Excuse me! What was that supposed to mean!?" She shoots back leaning over her girlfriend. "You know exactly what I mean" she hums pulling her down to the ground. "Listen you guys can all go fuck afterward for now onto the winners.

Atlas and Ivy went at it and Atlas won. They gave him a small break before he went up against Kiara. He tried his hardest but ultimately fell onto his back. I ran over to him and made sure he was okay making the girls awe at me.

"Are you okay?" I ask and he nods laying on his back. "That was a workout- how are you so good at that!?" He sits up blinking rapidly and looking at Kiara she made her way over to Ivy letting herself be pulled into a hug.

"Dad and mom wanted me to be good at everything" she shrugs looking up at her girlfriend, getting a small peck from her. "Well, you're damn good at cheating" Jax huffs, pouting to themself.

"Okay before this turns into a fight, which I mean I wouldn't mind, let's get this over with" Seren claps getting everyone's attention. I stand with Atlas rubbing his back. "Are you doing it again?" I question him and he nods.

"Okay be careful" I whisper going on my toes to get another kiss. "I just fell on my back I'm fine" he reassures me lining up with the others. I go back to Em and Seren ready to watch the chaos.

"1" "2" "3. Go" Seren shouts and they all go up. Poor Lyra immediately fell over and onto her butt, and I could tell she was embarrassed. Iris ended up coming down but immediately went back up cheating of course.

Atlas and Jax were full on just kicking each other as Kiara walked on her hands trying to get as far away from the chaos as possible. Ivy came down and pushed Iris down knowing she was cheating and I laughed as Atlas came crashing over.

Jax steadied themself and walked their way over to Kiara slowly but surely. She didn't notice trying to focus on one thing. "Babe watch out!" Ivy tried to warn her but it didn't work and she came down thinking something was wrong.

"Ha! I win! I finally won, one of these fucking contests!" Jax shouts doing a victory flip. "Okay Well Kiara and Jax are the winners, I'm going inside now. You all can go have sex now" Seren sends us a thumbs up and I laugh as Ivy sends her girlfriend a look.

"Hello, Miss. flexible" she flirts making Kiara roll her eyes. "Goodbye," Kiara waves her off before running away soon chased by her lover. I did the opposite and ran to mine hugging him.

"Does this mean we get to have s-"
