Asher's POV

"Don't leave me, if you leave me I'm jumping onto your back" I hiss clutching onto Ivy for dear life. "Asher it's been 2 weeks, I think you're being a bit clingy" she chuckles and I look both ways. "I forgot how scared I was of people" I groaned.

She laughs at me wrapping her arm around my shoulder. "Nobody has been doing anything to you, right?" She pries her face going serious. "No, I'm okay... I think Devon and Simon want to be friends" I fumble with my fingers and she freezes.

"Weren't they Thomas's friends?" She asks, the mention of his name making me flinch. "I- yes, but they helped me. I don't think they're bad... you know what, never mind." I sigh and she rubs my shoulder. "No don't say that... we just don't want another incident" she squeezes my shoulder.

"I know..." I answer meekly. "Hey don't worry about it, we'll take good care of you, and if you want I'm sure you can invite the two over" she cheers and I nod happily. "I'll ask papa and dad" I smile up at her with a little bit of hope in my voice.

"We can have Atlas interrogate them, that's always fun" she jokes. "I don't know... these guys might cry if he does that" I giggle covering my mouth. She laughs at this as we resume our walk to the great hall.

Lunch is one of the most awkward parts of the school day. I was terrified every day. "I would love to see that" she answers truthfully. I shake my head before looking up at her. "So Kiara?" I nudged her, getting no expression change.

"What about her?" She asks, biting her cheek. "Well, how is she doing? I don't see her much and we live in the same house at the moment!" I exclaim getting a stifled chuckle from her.

"She's doing good, I think they're going to start sending her to school soon and I'm pretty sure she's going to be able to start 'walking around more' if that makes sense" Ivy explains and I nod.

"So I'll be able to see her more right! And she'll be able to talk to me... like a friend!" I got way too excited and Ivy held my shoulders to calm my bouncy self. "Yes, you'll have your friend back" she jokes as I blush at my actions. I'm such a toddler.

"And you'll have your girlfriend back" I sing, getting an eye roll from her. She stops before we make it to the great hall and I peek around her tall self to find the two boys I had been talking about earlier.

Devon was biting at his nail as Simon swatted his hand away chewing him out. Ivy takes me and we start to walk again. Simon sees us first and then turns Devon around to face us. "You talk first" Simon murmurs elbowing him.

"Screw you- you do it" he whispers back as I try to hold back my laugh, showing that I could hear them. "He's here! No time to talk!" Simon pushes the other forward.

"Uh hello... tall female that I don't know the name of, and I'm now very sorry about and now I'm just embarrassing myself more... hi Asher" he sighs rubbing his temple.

Ivy chuckles at this while Simon grabs his best friend's shoulders standing over him and leaning to the side. "Hi Asher, hi tall person" he bows. Their introductions cause Ivy to laugh. "My name is Ivy Zabini, you may call me Ivy for now" she nods to the two.

"So do you like us?" Simon cheers his smile bigger than usual. She looks between the two uncertain. "Possibly, but there are many more people who you have to impress," she looked at the two of them, nodding intently.

"Can... can he sit with us at lunch?" Devon finally gets the courage to ask and I stare at them with wide eyes before looking back to my cousin. "I- can I?" I ask and she looks at me with sad eyes. "You shouldn't need to ask me if you can sit with someone" she smiles, nudging me towards them.

I smile widely looking at the two, but get pulled back by the shirt. "You will come to one of us immediately if they even lay a hand on you" she whispers and I turn back to her with big eyes. "Okay" I answered and she released my shirt letting me go.

"Be safe" she calls as I walk towards the Hufflepuff table. "Can we sit at the end?" I ask and the two nod letting me lead the way. I did just as I said and sat at the end making sure Uncle Draco could see me. Devon sat next to me and Simon on his other side.

"Uh we would like to apologize again" Devon sighs and I shake my head. "You don't need to worry about it" I answer meekly. "No, I know I need to say something" he continued, Simon nodding not knowing what to say.

"I made jokes with you in the room about your relationship. '' He runs a hand through his hair anxiously. "No please, you didn't know... you thought we were... together" I shiver at the thought of being in that kind of relationship with him.

"Let's not ruin the day with this talk" Simon jumps in his cheery smile already brightening the mood. I nod with my smile. "Well, then how was your summer?" I ask the two. "We hung out a lot, mostly at Devon's house, my parents are pretty strict, and they sometimes don't think things through" he chuckles as I look back at Devon who was shaking his head.

"They always ask me why I'm so short, and I'm just like I'm sorry I don't have godly genes like your son!" He murmurs, crossing his arms. "If they think you're short, they would not like me" I giggle leaning onto my hand.

"Awe you think I have godly genes? '' Simon coos patting Devons fluffy hair down. He shakes his head and pouts. "Shush it" he growls before turning back to me. "They wouldn't hate you, the first things they would do, is look you up and down and then say 'you are gay?'" Simon uses some sort of accent and laughs getting another annoyed look from Devon.

I chuckle as well looking between the two. "Demi" I correct them. Both give me strange looks. "Demi?" They both ask. "I've only... ever been- attracted to Atlas" I admit, blushing like crazy. I've never told anyone that now that I think about it.

"Ohhh, Yeah my parents know straight, gay, and girl gay and yes said like that" Simon continues making the both of us laugh. "Wait! If they're fine with his shortness why aren't they fine with my average height!" His best friend shouts, turning to look back at Simon.

"Because they worry, I'm going to turn into an f-boy because I hang out with you!" He chuckles as I bite my lip trying not to laugh at the two. "Do your parents even know what an f-boy is! And what the heck your mom said I was a sweet boy!!" Devon whines getting his hair ruffled by his friend.

"Simon what is your problem with my hair!" He swats him away. Simons's eyes still glued onto his hair. "It's so fluffyyy! Perfect f-boy hair!" He cheers. "Would you stop calling me an f-boy! I'm a nice person. Hell! I've been single all my life" he complains and I can't help but laugh out loud at their argument.

They swat at each other but freeze their mini fight with each other. I quickly cover my mouth not wanting to show my laugh. They begin to laugh as well and soon all of us are laughing. I quickly calm myself knowing I didn't bring any of my meds, so if I started to hyperventilate I didn't have anything to calm me.

"So Atlas? How does it feel having such a big macho man" Devon smirks raising his eyebrows. "Is Devon jealous" Simon sings but the words made my heartache. "Me? No, I'm terrified of that man, I just want to know how to get him to not hate me so I can be Asher's friend" he chuckles and I let out a sigh of relief.

"I have other people in mine" he shrugs, making Simon's face drop in shock. "Why am I just hearing about this!? People?! More than one!? Like at once!? Or you just have many crushes?" Simon panics looking between the both of us for answers.

I throw my arms up. "Why would I know anything?" I giggled but cocked my head to the side looking at Devon now curious about these crushes of his. "So is there more than one crush?" I asked, narrow-eyed.

"More than one... so you are an f-boy!"

"Simon stop!"
