Asher's POV

"Thanks for taking me" I lay my head onto Atlas's shoulder. He smiles rubbing my cheek with his thumb. "I owe you" he whispers. I shook my head as an answer. He didn't owe me anything. If anything I owed him everything.

"Have you been feeling better, the whole being watching thing?" He asks. I bite my cheek not sure if I should tell him the truth or not. "I still feel like I'm being watched every once in a while" I decided on answering truthfully.

"That's not good... not at all" he sighs pulling me closer to his side. "Do you think it could be anxiety?" He questions me and I try to think. "Probably" I look up to him just wanting the feeling to be gone. So if I have to tell myself it's anxiety to make myself feel better I will.

"Hey don't just say that, unless you think it is" he lectured me seeing right through my facade. "I'm serious, I'm probably just anxious from everything that's going on" I place a kiss on his head.

"Okay, but tell me if anything else happens," he tells me sternly. I nod holding onto his arm. I just enjoyed being with him. I was clingy, I loved to either be held or hold onto him at all times. "Angel, promise... please" he looks down at me with worried eyes.

I searched his face but, all I got was a sad expression. "I pinky promise," I promise, holding up my pinky. He chuckles, latching onto mine. "I love you" he adds and I nod leaning up to kiss his cheek. "I love you too" I smile just as the carriage comes to the stop practically throwing me forward.

Atlas quickly clutched onto me keeping me still. "I swear it's always this damn carriage! Threw Lyra into the door last time" he hissed, helping me out.

I giggled as he walked into the school, his head still turned back glaring at the carriage. He takes my hand and we walk hand and hand to the hospital wing. Pushing the door open, Atlas following behind me.

We found Ivy already in bed with her, cuddling the girl in her arms. I let go of Atlas's hand and ran over to the two. Ivy heard me coming and opened her eyes. "Hey" she whispers and I give her a little wave clutching onto the side of the bed.

"Any news?" I practically beg for some good news. She shakes her head running a hand over the sleeping girl's cheek. "She's stable, that's all I got... I think she would be happy to know a lot of her schoolmates came to visit" she sighs and I nod fiddling with my fingers.

I turned back, and was Atlas leaning against the wall. He was watching the three of us, a small smile etched on his face. "I don't know if Pomfrey believes me, but she's been squeezing my hand" Ivy whispers and I stare at her with wide eyes.

"For how long!" I quickly quiet myself. "Why didn't you tell me!?" I whisper-shout. "Well I didn't believe me either" she groans rubbing her eyes. "Try it, she's been doing it a lot lately" her smile was wide but tired.

I hesitantly took Kiara's hand intertwining our fingers. "Love, Asher's here now, can you squeeze his hand for me" she whispers in her ear. I honestly wanted to believe it so bad. I was also kind of terrified.

"Please, just one more time" she sighs resting her head on Kiara's chest. I gasp pulling my hand away as her small hand lightly squeezes mine. "She did it!" I clap looking at the two. Ivy sits up wide-eyed and nods. "She did?!" She asks, grabbing my shoulders. I nod quickly bringing my arms to my chest excited.

I smile as her hand finds mine again. Looking at Ivy, her face was shocked while she stared down at her hand. I swear I have some incredibly dumb moments. Kiara had moved her hands and was holding both of ours.
