Asher's POV
"Dray- I mean Uncle Draco- fiddlesticks I mean Professor Malfoy!" I call him over making a complete fool of myself. I did it, I messed up again.
"Yes, Asher- nephew- Mr. Weasley" he teases me. I cross my arms embarrassed. "Iblewitup" I mumble still flustered. "You what?" He chuckles leaning against my desk. "I blew it up" I sigh nodding to the very obvious cauldron some sort of substance foaming out of it.
"Bloody hell you're worse than Emerald" he whistles once again I nod, biting my lip. "Definitely got it from her Papa" he mumbles as I just scratch the back of my neck nervously. "What do you want me to do?" I ask and he looks around the class to the other students.
Leaning a bit closer he grimaced at my failed concoction. "Class will be over soon, after school when the kids go to practice you and I can go over it again" he pats my shoulder and I groan.
"Don't worry we don't have to go over notes, you're pretty good at knowing how to make them... you just struggle at actually doing it" he chuckles. Pursing my lips I nod "okay thank you" I thank him. Draco gives me a small smile before walking his way back up to the front of the class.
I kept my head down not wanting to check if people were staring or not. A few minutes later we began to clean our areas I had to ask one of my classmates for help since I wasn't allowed my wand. It's so embarrassing. I know barely half the spells these kids know.
Dismissed a few minutes later, I waved goodbye to my uncle. "I'll see you after school" he laughs. "Yup" I smile leaving the room. It's hard to believe all the stories the adults tell me about how much that man hated me.
Leaning against the cool wall I hug my backpack to my chest waiting for my boyfriend. Closing my eyes, I take a deep breath. Only to open them a second later. I fling back into the wall slamming the back of my head. "Ow..." I groan bringing my hand to my head, quickly dropping it.
"Merlin! Asher, I'm so sorry" Thomas shouts putting his hand over the bruised spot. "I'm okay" I giggle as he gives me another concerned look looking at his hand. "No blood" he releases a sigh of relief.
"Damn I'm so sorry" he mumbles bringing his hand back to my head. "No it's fine really, it's probably just going to bruise and that's all" I reassure him putting my hand over his. "Sorry" I mumble pulling my hand away. "You don't need to be sorry I don't mind at all" he chuckles.
I cringe as a shot of pain goes through my head. "Ow," I cry to myself again leaning over a bit. "Asher I'm so sorry" he repeats trying to steady me. "It's fine just a little headache" with a heavy breath I stand back up.
"Maybe we should go back into Professor Malfoy's classroom" he looks over to his closed-door and I shake my head making the pain worse again. Curse my weak self. "No, no I'm okay" I assure him squeezing my eyes shut.
"Here come here" he sighs. I step forward not even opening my eyes. Resting my forehead onto his chest while he holds my head. I hate how I was fine a minute ago and now... fiddlesticks it hurts.
Thomas wraps me in a hug as his body shifts. "Where is Malfoy?" He grumbles looking back and forth. "He'll be here," I tell him as he continues to look around. His hand lightly holding the back of my head.
"Fucking finally" he groans as loud footsteps approach us. "Hands off!" Atlas shouts and Thomas quickly hands me over to him. I repeat the same thing with him laying my head onto his chest. I can feel him tense up and he wraps his arms around me protectively.
"What did you do to him?" he growls making Thomas groans. "Would you fucking calm down, I came to talk to my friend and accidentally scared him. He slammed his head against the wall and now has a headache I was trying to help" his voice was irritated and annoyed.
I push myself away from Atlas to look at him. We make eye contact and I nod. "He was just helping" I confirm what Thomas had said looking over to him. He was irritated but once I said that smiled at me. His smile dropped again as he looked back up to Atlas.
"I'll take my leave now, I'm very sorry Asher, I'll talk to you later" he adds before walking off. "Is that true?" He asks looking back down at me. "Is what true?" I mumble placing my head back onto his chest.
"Did he scare you or do something else?" He grumbles leaning over to kiss the top of my head. "Yeah, I just jumped back and hit it... my fault" I whisper meekly. "Do you need to go lie down?" He mumbles holding my head protectively.
"No it just hurts a little bit" I whisper the pounding fainter than before. "We've got one more class" I hum as he massages my scalp. "You're going to leave as soon as it becomes too much" he speaks with a worried tone as we walked towards my last class. "I will"

"Remind me why I'm walking you to my Dad's class," Atlas asks as I try to comfort myself in his warmth. "I have to redo a potion thing" I mumble making him chuckle. He moves his hand back to the side of my head.
"Please you can go back home and do it later, your head baby, you have to take care of your health first" he stops me from going into the class. "It won't take long... go to practice. I'll rest afterward" I pull away looking up to him. He sighs but finally agrees. "Fine, but as soon as we get home you're going to bed and I'm telling your parents" he whispers. "Okayyy" I cheer, just wanting to get the rest of the day over with.
"Good, I love you I'll talk to you soon" he continues leaning down to my level. I give him a quick peck before returning the words. "I love you too" I smile turning towards the door. Closing the door behind me I find my uncle resting in his chair.
He uncrosses his legs, standing and walking over to my usual spot. "Okay, so we're just going to get right into it if that's okay?" He claps. I walk over to him placing my bag on the ground. "Yeah that's fine" I whisper looking over the table of ingredients.
"Okay, do you know what we start with?" He asks and I bite my lip knowing I was going to screw this up. "I have to mix the Armadillo bile until it turns blue," I tell him with little confidence cringing as a shot of pain spikes through my head.
"Good" he points to the cauldron and waits for me to do it. I stirred until it turned blue and Draco clicks his tongue. "This was probably your first mistake... that blue is too light you need it to be about 2 shades darker" he points out and I sigh. "But the lighter blue is so much prettier" I whine getting a laugh from him. I quickly do it and wait for further instruction.
"And now?" He questions me. I stare at all the ingredients hoping something would stick out. "Oh, the Ground Scarab Beetles... mix it until it's... red" I squeak out the last word.
I ended up doing everything right it's just every time I stopped stirring too soon. The blue, red, lime green, and then purple. Each time I made them to light. They were just so pretty when lighter.
It was the longest 20 minutes of my life. "Well, you did it!" He shouts examining it with a smile. "I did it!?!" I shout back regretting it as my head starts pounding again. "Yup" he smiles as I stare at the awful potion I just made. "Well, it didn't blow up so I'm proud" I smile his hand patting my shoulder.
"It would look prettier if it was lilac purple" I state as he chuckles to himself going back over to his desk. "Yeah but then... it's going to blow up again" he smirks. I shiver not wanting to relive that.
Another sharp pain and I grab the corner of my desk holding myself up. "Ow," I mumble quietly, squeezing my eyes shut. It apparently wasn't quiet enough because uncle Dray comes running over a few seconds later. Holding me up and checking my temperature.
"Are you okay? Are you sick? What's wrong? You feel fine..." he shouts question after question. "I just have a headache I'm sorry for worrying you" I give him a closed-eyed smile as he freezes.
"For the love of- please don't be pregnant!"
"No! I- we- I need to go lie down"
"So you aren't pregnant"
"Uncle Dray!"
