Chapter 36
Warning: Very long chapter.
<< next day >>
I hoped the sun would greet me with a bright smile as I stepped out in the street. But I was fooled. It was overcast with greyish clouds and looking somber. The winter passed long ago but the air felt wintery to me when it blew my hair artistically. It was almost noon when I left Taehyung's home and started for mine. It doesn't feel good when it's all gloomy at noon. It just doesn't go with it. Noon is supposed be warm, bright and the nature should shimmer in the sunlight along with bearable amount of heat.
The ride on the taxi was quite good. Luckily, my favourite song was playing on the radio. That turned my mood good and ecstatic. The happenings from last night glanced my mind fewer times but didn't affect much. To be honest, I was trying not to think about that anymore. What happened just happened. It was better to leave it there, and move on.
But sitting in the taxi, I remembered one thing. That guy from last night told that he knows me well and he was also talking about Jimin. Does Jimin know him then?
Whatever, I won't ask Jimin. So, there was no pointing of thinking about this. It'll only be a pressure on my mind. And no need to mention, I already had a lot.
I reached my home in no time. I paid the driver, sent a text to Taehyung cause he told me probably more than hundred times to let him know when I reach home, and walked inside the elevator. It reached to the destination and I walked out. I walked up to my apartment and stopped next to the front door. Finding out the key from my bag, I entered it inside the lock. I tried to open the lock and observed something strange. The key wasn't rotating. I knitted my eyebrows together. I held the doorknob and twisted it. And it worked. In fact, the door was already open. But as far as I could remember, I had locked it before leaving.
That means, someone already opened the lock and got inside. And there was only one person on the earth who had the key of my house.
Park Jimin.
I took a deep breathe before taking the first step inside. God knows what the hell he's doing here. I opened the door and found him sitting on the sofa with a mysterious look on his face. His legs were crossed, so his arms, eyes were fixed at me straight. I glanced at him once, then avoided his gaze and closed the door. I took off my heels and walked past him, completely ignoring his presence.
"Where were you?" He asked. His voice was very calm. I heard him clearly but his question failed to make me stop and give the answer. I kept walking in the same pace. He stood up from the sofa impatiently, and said again, "Y/n, where were you?"
I ignored him this time as well. I had no desire to talk with him and start an argument. Cause if I started saying, I would probably lose the control over my emotions.
Seeing me avoiding him for some particular reasons, he rushed to me and gripped my wrist tightly. I turned round and tried to release my hand from him saying, "Leave my hand." My voice was cold and emotionless. "Listen to me first." He told. But I didn't listen to him. "Jimin, leave my hand." I warned him again.
He held both of my shoulders and pinned me against the nearest wall. I said annoyingly, "Let me go!" He stood there like a statue, or maybe more like an obstacle, preventing me from running away. He took a deep breathe and said calmly, "We need to talk."
"I don't want to talk." I replied being irritated.
"Please." He pleaded.
Meanwhile, I kept twisting and twirling to escape from him. But they were nothing comparing with his strong and firm grip.
