Chapter 12

It was a little after the sun had set. There was still some red and yellow rays in the crystal clear sky. I was looking outside through the glass window, half of which was covered with the curtains while lying down on my bed.

There was no light except the bedside lamp. Soft yellow light was spreaded all over the room but it couldn't make the darkness go, just like those flutters in my mind. Didn't even feel like getting up and turn on the lights. I moved my glance from the window and it fell on the phone resting beside me.

Five days passed with the blink of eyes. The sunlight couldn't touch my skin for all these days. I didn't go out of my home, not even for a walk. I kept thinking and thinking about the same thing, again and again. But couldn't come to a conclusion.

Jimin talked with me maybe once or twice in these whole five days. I could see a change in his behaviour. I was worried for him. I wanted to know if everything's ok or not. But maybe he didn't want to tell me. I wanted to know if he was upset on me. But he didn't want to tell me. And I didn't want to bother him.

I closed my eyes to fall in the ocean of deep thoughts for another time. But I had to stop cause my phone beeped. I didn't feel any interest to check it. Because I knew that it wasn't him whom I wanted to talk. However, I picked it up. And it surprised me just because it was beyond my expectation.

He texted me after a long day.

Jimin: Meet at XXXX. Everyone's gathering there. And I have a special surprise for all of you!

I felt happy to see him texting me. Maybe everything was ok with him. And I'm the one who was thinking too much. Maybe everything was fine just like before. A sudden elation came into my heart. I left my bed instantly, walked to the closet to pick up a perfect outfit for tonight.

"He told us to gather here and now he hasn't come yet." Jungkook said with annoyance while stretching out his arms.

"Maybe there's traffic on the road?" Namjoon said.

"Has he told about a surprise to you?" Taehyung interrupted.

I nodded my head and said, "Yeah, he told me."

Namjoon and Jungkook agreed with me too. Namjoon was thinking what it can be while Jungkook guessed that it was food. "I'm sure it's about foooood." Jungkook said in a cute gesture which made all of us laugh.

Finally, he showed up after waiting for some more time. Though the place was too crowdy, but my eyes didn't fail to identify him. He was wearing a coffe brown shirt under a black leather jacket and ripped denim, hugging his thighs perfectly. He was looking good in that outfit, though he always does. But he was not alone. He came along with someone, someone we didn't expect.

Jimin came near us along with the person next to him. All of us became surprised to see her. Cause we didn't know that he was bringing Somi with him. "Hi, guys!" Two of them said excitedly while dragging the chairs to sit.

"Jimin, you didn't tell us about her." Jungkook said confusedly.

"Hahaha...surprise!" Jimin chuckled.

Somi smiled hearing two of them talking. Thin bangs were falling on her forehead. A coral theme was imprinted in her overall makeup and in her dress. Our eyes met with each other and she smiled at me. And it looked like a smile of pride.

After some time, Jimin cleared his throat like he was going to announce something. He said, "Actually the real surprise is something else."

"Something else?" Taehyung widened his eyes.
