Chapter 26

(3rd person's POV)

The break time started and three boys gathered at the cafeteria, claiming a table of four. The place was totally empty and they were the first one to step into. Sitting on the chair, Jungkook asked Taehyung, "Where's Y/n?" He replied, "I saw her coming here. She'll be here in no time."

Namjoon leaned forward and lowered his voice, "Okay then, what's our plan?"

Jungkook started saying, "I think it's better to ask her what she wants to do, you know. Of course it's all about her and we'll let her choose."

Taehyung and Namjoon agreed with the younger one as they nodded their heads. Soon the place started getting full with people, and it became more lively just like any ordinary day. With each passing minutes the crowd was getting heavier. It was midday and the heat was shimmering off everything like a haze outside. Gladly the air conditioner was there to save them from the warmth.

Y/n came after some time, walking slowly. She didn't have any hurry so she chose the slow mode. There was no one waiting to see her, to talk to her, to know what she was upto recently, as far as she knew. But she met with three pairs of eyes welcoming her by waving their hands so cheerfully as she entered. She became surprised as well as curious. Well, she couldn't deny that they made her mood a little better. She came to the table and took the empty seat beside Jungkook. While sitting on the chair, she said, "All of you have gathered here. Is there something special happening?" She tried to look cheerful but the boys knew she was just pretending.

Jungkook scratched his back. He said, "Not really. We don't gather that much these days, you know. So we thought what if we chit-chat for some time." He smiled shyly.

"Hmm...that's true." Y/n said.

Taehyung cleared his throat and said, "Are you free this weekend?"

She simply replied, "Yeah, I am."

"That's great!" He almost jumped out from his seat in excitement. He became overexcited for some reasons and that made Y/n more surprised. Namjoon and Jungkook got shocked too, seeing Taehyung act like that. Taehyung realized that and became shy.

"Whoa! What happened?" She widened her eyes.

"Let's go out." He said.

"Huh?" She didn't understand.

Namjoon slapped his arm and said, "You're making her confused. Let me explain everything."

Namjoon interlocked his fingers together, rested his hand on the table and looked at Y/n. "Actually it's been a while since we haven't hung out. So we were thinking what if we go out this weekend and spend some time together."

She nodded her head in realization. Then she spoke up, "Hmm...sounds good."

The three boys were smiling looking at her. She found it weird somehow.

She questioned, "Okay. So, what's the plan?"

"You tell." Jungkook said, looking at Y/n and smiling like a bunny.

"Me?" She got surprised. And they nodded their heads.

"Okay, let me think." She said and started thinking, looking upwards and placing a finger at her chin. Rest of her friends were looking at her with great attention. They were waiting patiently for her reply.
