Chapter 30

(Y/n's POV)

I had hated assignments for all my life, and I got a type of teacher in uni who is fond of giving assignments. "How lucky I am." I mumbled to myself annoyingly. I had to stuck in the library with this task for long period. After getting them done, I came out and exhaled a breathe of relief. I felt tired. I yawned and looked outside at the ground. It was just like any other day, odinary one. There was smell of spring in the air. I took a deep breathe and the gentle aura out there filled my mind and refreshed me up a bit. I started walking towards teacher's room.

I took the staircase of the right corner of the building. It remains empty most of the time cause no one ever comes here. At least I never saw anyone. People are fond of taking the front side stairs. I also take that most of the time, but I don't know why my feet unconsciously took me there and I didn't mind.

While walking I was singing a song in a really low voice, which recently got stuck in my head. It's an old habit and I enjoy it. I stopped singing when I heard a voice, a really faint voice but that didn't fail to reach my ears. I stopped singing as well as walking. I tried to hear the voice more clearly. It was like a girl's voice. I looked around but found no one. The detective inside me woke up once again and I started finding the origin of the voice.

I took few small steps making no noise and moved forward. I wondered who will wander there at that time. Because the class was over and the classrooms were empty. I passed the hallway silently. The voice was getting louder and clearer. I was about to take a left turn but stopped when I found the origin of the voice. I hid behind the wall when I saw Somi, talking on phone.

"Seiously?" She asked the person on the other side. Her voice was comparatively louder than usual. She seemed annoyed and angry as well.

"Listen, I can't go there again!" She said.

"I don't give a shit about that! Why me?! And why did those idiots choose a place like that?"

"Have you ever visited the place? Do you have any idea how crowdy it is?! You even call it a place?"

I didn't have any intention to eavesdrop on her conversation. I was waiting for her to finish her conversation and go. So that I can go too. That was the only way and I didn't want to go in front of her.

I was waiting there patiently until I heard something that left me astounded.

"I'm repeating I can't go to Seoul Port again." She said.

Her words echoed in my ears.

I heard her right, didn't I?

She kept arguing with the person for some more time and I was thinking about the words I heard. "It's useless to argue with you." She said angrily.

"Fine! I'll go. But I'm telling you this should be the last time. Or else..."

Suddenly her voice got lowered and she went silent. "Yeah, right. You guys like to play with our weakness." She said after long time.

"Anyway, when do I need to go?"

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow."
