Chapter 46
Warning: Very long chapter.
(Y/n's POV)
<< two weeks later >>
Life got busier again like before. Waking up early, attending classes, pile of assignments and projects, spending most of the break time in the library, late night study sessions. I was back to my old life. I felt alive again. Though it was bit stressing at some points, yet I couldn't help but love it.
All of us were able to move on from the past and got busy with our own life. Jimin came round in no time and started joining his dance practices. Namjoon was busy with studies just like me, yet he managed to help his cousin with the case time to time. Jungkook was the only person who was chilling cause his department was different than mine. He often used to come and accompany me in the library and the cafeteria. And lastly Taehyung. He was kind off avoiding everyone. It was not too obvious, or could it be I was overthinking, but I felt it. It was not like that he stopped talking or avoided sitting with us. It's just that he became too silent and it was not his usual way to act. I noticed it all, but I couldn't do anything. I was helpless. I gave him space. It would require time, so I gave it too. I let him take all the time he wants. But all that I wanted him to heal and become normal again with me and others.
I came to Jimin's place after having such a long tiring day. I pressed the button of the door bell and waiting outside the large wooden door. We hadn't met each other for few days, so I decided to show up without saying him anything before. On my way home, I picked up his favourite fried chicken. The door got unlocked and a surprised face greeted me. "Whoa! You?" Jimin said in a high tone. His eyes were big and widened.
"Yes, me." I replied bluntly while walking inside.
"You didn't tell me you are coming." He told after locking the door again.
"I wanted to surprise you." I chuckled. "Are you happy?"
He laughed. "Of course, I'm happy."
"Take this. You like it." I handed him the paper bag of fried chicken.
He took a quick glance inside the bag and looked at me. "Why are you being so nice today? Something's fishy." He narrowed his eyes.
"What are you talking about? I'm always nice." I rolled my eyes.
"You haven't taken dinner, have you?" He asked.
"Nah~" I said laying half of my body on the sofa.
"I made Samgyeopsal yesterday. You wanna try?"
My face lit up. "Samgyeopsal?!" I repeated. "Yes!"
He laughed and went to the kitchen. I followed him too. I helped him set the table, meanwhile he heated up some leftovers and served the foods. It had been a long time since I ate my meals timely. Usually I leave my study table when my stomach growls and grab something, then munch it while studying. So, it felt much different and good to set up table together and sit for a meal. And it made me remember about home. I missed my home.
"How's life?" He asked, taking a bite from his food.
"Cool." I replied nodding my head. "Finals are stressing me out as hell."
"I know you're working so hard. And I'm so proud of you." He clapped his hands lightly in a really cute manner.
I laughed. "Thanks for the appreciation."
"I can't believe little Y/n is finally graduating. Time flies so quickly, doesn't it?"
I kept down my glass and raised my eyebrows. "You sound like you raised me or something."
