Chapter 25
(Jimin's POV)
"Hello, baby." A girly voice spoke up cheerfully.
"A-a...hello." I replied nervously.
"Baby, are you busy today?" Somi asked.
That 'baby' was bothering me. Who the hell tell her to call me 'baby'? But I tried not to tell anything. Sometimes it's better to be remain silent.
"Not really." I replied after re-checking my schedule in my mind.
"Then let's go to a date today at a good place. I'm being so bored." She said. Her voice was so hyped.
Agh, date! Not again!
I sighed. I knew her decisions were always really obstinated and for the same reason she would drag me to a date no matter what does it cost. Felt a little bit exhausted to think that there was no other way to escape from that boring date. I hate that. I replied after some moments, "Okay, fine. Where are you now?" The horrible memory of past dates played in my mind.
"I'm standing in front of the cafe nearby. Come and get me!" She said. Her voice seemed full with joy and excitement. If she knew the truth, all of those would be faded, I thought.
"Ok, I'm coming." I said and cut the call off. I took necessary stuffs from my locker and shut it off again. The hallway was empty till I started walking away. Minjae, along with three other boys coming towards me, his followers who dog his every step. It wasn't hard for me to guess that he was going to stop in front of me and tell something that will make my blood warm. He was the most annoying person I've ever met in my life till then. And I was getting prepared for that, mentally.
His hands were in his pockets, head kept low and a smirk was visible on his face. He was walking in a slow speed, more like trying hard not to make a sound. I tried to not to pay any attention at him, pretending I didn't know about his presence and was making my way outside. A hand rested on my shoulder and stopped me. "Hey, hey, why's so hurry?" Minjae said, leering at me with an unreadable intention.
I rolled my eyes and said, "Want to tell something?"
"Ahh...why are getting annoyed? We can have a cool and cold conversation, can't we?" He licked his lips like they were the tastiest thing in the world. I gave him a cold look.
"Look, I don't have lots of time like you. So if you have something to tell, do it quick or I'll just walk away." I muttered.
He took off his hand from his pocket and ran it through his black hair which were perfectly permed. "Why are you getting annoyed? Calm down." He laughed out loudly. And it irritated me in some ways. He started walking around me, making a circle and said, "Whatever, let's come to the point." He said as he hid his hands in his jacket again.
"Park Jimin..." He called out my name in a weird tone. I was being suspicious about what he was gonna say. However, I didn't have to wait long. "You've really got a good taste, man." He smirked.
"Speak clearly." I said annoyingly and rolled my eyes.
"You're too good at getting barbie dolls. What's the secret, dude?" He clung his hand around my neck and burst into laughter that soon turned into a sly grin.
