Chapter 11

Christmas special pt 2

Taehyung stopped the car near the restaurant where Jimin was waiting for me. He told me to come at 9 but I was 40 minutes late because of traffic on the road. Also we should have started from the lighthouse a bit earlier. And now I'm regretting that.

I freed myself from the seatbelt as the engine stopped. I opened my bag and took out the jar of cookies I made for Taehyung. I was in a hurry so I was doing everything as quickly as possible. I handed the jar over him. "Hey, it's for you. I've made it." I told simply.

I could surely say that he didn't expect that. He was still looking at the jar so weirdly, that seemed a little bit cute and funny to me. "Oh..thanks. You didn't need to." He spoke after some moments.

"Come on, just a little gift from your friend. Tell me later how does it taste."

I was opening the door but then I was stopped by him. He was holding a white colored bag. He gave it to me and said shyly, "It's for you."

I became surprised. I asked, "What is this?"

"Nothing special cause I really didn't know what you'll like. Moreover I suck at choosing gifts. I think this is really a stupid gift." He said at once.

A cute pink woolen scarf was waiting for me in the bag. My eyes were probably shining brightly while I was looking inside the bag. The only words came out from my mouth was, "It's amazing!"

"You loved it?"

"Why wouldn't I? It's so cute and pink is my favourite color." I said as I took it out from the bag. It was so soft and fluffy. The color was one of the lighter shades of pink, more like a cotton candy.

I wrapped the scarf around my neck and turned to Taehyung. "How am I looking?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Beautiful as always."

I couldn't help but smile to his words. He talks cutely sometimes. He can surely be a good boyfriend in future. I opened the door and came out. Taehyung got off from the car too. He leaned back against his car, with crossed arms, looking at me. I waved my hand towards him and was walking towards my destination.

When I took only few steps from him, I couldn't say what happened to me, something played in my head. It felt like that I should give him a thanks. I turned back to see if he was still there. He was still standing there with the same gestures. Before I could hesitate, my feet started to take me back to him.

When I came back to him again, without saying anything, I just hugged him and said, "Thanks for everything, Tae. The days was amazing." But surprisingly he didn't hug me back. I was still holding him. I thought for a moment if I'm making him uncomfortable. Maybe he was not ready for it.

I started to feel a bit awkward and bothered. I could smell the perfume he wore. Leaving me surprised, he finally hugged me back. My body was encircled by his arms which I wasn't ready for. He whispered into my ears in his deepest voice, "Thanks to you too for coming with me."

(Jimin's POV)

I was looking at myself in the mirror for the last time before leaving. I ran fingers through my silky hair once again. "I should look beautiful today." I said to myself. I was thinking about telling Y/n that how I really feel for her lately. Tonight could be the perfect time. Well, I have to do it sooner or latet. But I just don't know how I would start. Cause we never talked about these subjects.

Should I ask her indirectly?

At the same time I was being worried thinking if she feels the same for me. Pondering into this thought I became busy in tying up the lace of my shoes. Just at that moment, my phone buzzed.
