Chapter 49

(Y/n's POV)

I closed the book, getting tired of looking at it for such a long time. Keeping it aside, I stretched out my hands and glanced at the person who was there just to accompany me. "Jiminie." I called him in a cute tone, while he was busy with a basketball in the empty court. "Yes?" He responded using the same tone like me, without moving his gaze from the ball. I lied down on the wooden court, resting my hands beneath my head. "When we're gonna tell them about us?" I questioned, looking blankly at the ceiling up there. The sound of the orange ball hitting against the court couldn't be heard anymore. Few moments later, Jimin came and sat next to me with his legs crossed. "Tell who and what?" He asked curiously.

I sighed and rolled my eyes. "I meant when we're gonna tell our friends that we're dating?"

"Oh, we need to tell them." He spoke as if he had forgot about it.

I narrowed down my eyes. "Of course, we need to tell them." I said. "They're the closest to us among all our friends. And I want them to know from us, not from those chit-chat out there."

Jimin nodded his head in realization. Then said, "Okay, let's go out one day and then tell them."

I sat up with a jolt. "What about today?!" I asked with extreme excitement.

He blinked fewer times, taken aback to see me acting like that. "Umm...I don't have any problem." Jimin replied. "Ask them first if they can make it today."

"Wait I'm calling Jungkook."

I reached for my phone happily, dialed his number in no time.

"Hey, Kookie?"

"Yes, Y/n."

"Are you free today?"

"Umm...yeah. I don't have any important work today." He replied after thinking for a moment.

"Great!"

"You sound so happy. What happened?"

"Wanna go out today?" I asked and added, "It's all on Jimin."

Jimin darted a surprised look at me. "Heyyy...when did I say that?!" And I just giggled in reply.

"Okay, count me in!" Jungkook chimed in from the other side.

"Okay, do one more thing. Tell Namjoon and Tae about it, and let me know if they can make it today."

"Fine. I'm informing you soon."

I cut the call and moved my eyes back towards Jimin. He seemed clueless which made me want to laugh, though I controlled myself. "What was that?" He asked, narrowing down his eyes.

"Umm...today's dinner is on you?"

"But I didn't sign up for this!" He shrugged.

"Come on, it's just a dinner." I hit his arm lightly.

"Still, it's unfa..."

I quickly leaned forward and left a peck on his lips before he could finish his words. And he was left speechless for the second time. Managing himself, he was going to speak something, but I left another peck. He stared at me while I wore a seductive smile.
