Chapter 33

There was a deep silence in the room. Deep and heavy silence. Everyone needed some time to digest the whole story they had just got to know. I knew that and I decided to let them take their time. I glanced at every faces, sitting around me. They had a worried expression on their faces. Surprised? Shocked? Flabbergasted?

All four of us gathered at the office early in the morning. As I couldn't sleep well at night, cause the thing was pricking me since I had come home, I called Jin early in the morning and told him to inform everyone to come at office. He asked why and I just replied that they had to know something. He knew something was wrong cause I acted weird. After they had come, I told them everything I had experienced yesterday, and everything I knew about Somi.

I looked at Namjoon who was sitting right next to me. I never seen him that worried before. Why are they so worried?

I thought someone would break the silence but no one was doing that. It was getting uncomfortable so I took the first step. "What's with this expression, guys?" I asked. Three pairs of eyes looked at me and I became the centre of their attention.

Namjoon was the first one who had spoken. "Y/n, we're worried for you." His voice was full of concern.

I became confused. "What? But why?" I asked being surprised.

"Do you have any idea how dangerous it was? What would we do something if happen had happened to you?" He replied.

"But I'm okay, right? Nothing happened to me." I stretched both of my arms towards him like a kid to show that I was okay and smiled. I tried to assure him.

"Joon is right, Y/n." Jin said. "It was really dangerous. You should have told us about this. Why did you go alone? Something bad could happen."

I bit my lower lips. "It has become past now. Let's not think about it anymore. I'm fine and let's be happy about it." I tried to draw  their attention from the 'reckless' thing, in their opinion, that I had done. Won't deny but I also tried to avoid furthermore sclodings from them.

"Actually I knew about it a little." Minjoong told. "She came here amd told me to track the location of Somi. I tried to stop her but she was so stubborn." Hearing him, Jin looked at me and I avoided his gaze as I looked at somewhere. Caught red handed!

"Why didn't you inform me about it?" Jin asked Minjoong. "I told him not to tell you." I replied.

I said again, "Jin, I didn't want to tell you about this without being sure of everything. Cause you guys are already going through a lot. All of you are working so hard for this case and I didn't want to add another troublesome thing on your shoulder. That's why I decided to find out more about these on my own. And I guess I haven't done something wrong."

Jin rubbed his temples and said in a faint voice, "But still, you're safety is our first priority."

"Thank you for that. What happened is just happened. Let's not worry about it. I think we should think about our next step now." I said.

"Hmm...you're right." Jin said. Namjoon and Minjoong agreed with him as well. But they were still tensed about the dangerous adventure of mine. I could read them.

Jin picked up my phone from the table and once again watched the video that I had taken. We were silently waiting for him to say something.
