A Little Secret - (Draco Malfoy - Request)

Thank you so much for requesting and I'm sorry that it took so long to write. I was hella busy, but I'm on crutches now, so I have more free time. I hope you enjoy it :)

You were a simple girl. You had your friends, just as everyone else did. You had your interests, just as everyone else did. You had your boyfriend, just as everyone else did. Well, maybe not everyone else, but that wasn't what made your relationship kind of difficult. 

What made it so difficult was that you were dating Draco Malfoy. 

Now, who wouldn't want to date Draco. I mean, he's nice (when he wants to be), he's caring to those he truly cares about, as much as he hates to admit it, he's a really soft and gentle person on the inside. Not to mention, he's very pretty. 

What really made it difficult was that you were best friends with the Golden Trio. That's right, Harry, Ron, and Hermione, who all hated Draco, were your best friends. They weren't aware that you were dating Draco. In fact, they all thought that you two hated each other. You two were always "fighting" in front of them since you weren't ready to tell them yet. 

In fact, at Draco's house with the Golden Trio currently. Not for a good reason, though. Honestly, you didn't know why you were here with them. One minute, you guys were walking the halls of Hogwarts together, then next, you're blacked out and woke up in Malfoy Manner.

Suddenly, Bellatrix can out of nowhere. It was dark in the room you were in, so you couldn't see her, but you knew it was her by her iconic high pitched voice.  It took you a second, but eventually you saw a figure being held by the shoulder next to Bella. When, he came closer, you could tell that it was Draco.

'Why is he here? Was he captured too? Is he the reason that you were here? If so, why are Harry, Ron, and Hermione here too?'  these thoughts raced through your mind as they came closer to you.

"Ahh Y/N, so you're the one ruining Draco's life hmm?" Bellatrix said as she looked you dead in the eye.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Harry butted in before you could even open your mouth to respond.

"Well you see," she snapped her head quickly towards Harry. "Little Y/N here has been having a great affect on Draco's future.

"Don't be stupid," Hermione says, now intervening too. "She hates Draco. Why should she care about his future?

"Well, this little photograph I have here says otherwise." She pulled out a picture and laid it out for all four of you to see. It was a photo of you and Draco kissing in the Astronomy Tower a few weeks ago when you two snuck out at night. Everyone was rendered silent, so Bellatrix continued to speak. "'My dear Bellatrix, it is within both of our best interests to have this photo within possession. Do with it as you please.  - Pansy Parkinson.' Miss Parkinson seems to have delivered a very interesting photo to me of these two. They seem to very close."

"Bloody Hell, Y/N? Is this true?" Ron asked, finally speaking up.

During this encounter, you had kept your head down, not wanting to look any of them in the eyes. You could feel your friend's gazes on you. 

Forcing yourself to look up, you immediately meet Draco's gaze. You can tell by the look on his face that he is just as shocked as you were. You slowly turned you head to see your friends. They were staring at you intensely.

You temporarily swallowed all your fear and spoke. "Yes. It is. But before you flip out just know-"

"Enough!" Bellatrix interrupted you. "Now you see why she's had such an influence of my little Draco."

"We didn't know about this anymore than you did, so we'll be of no help." Hermione told her. You could hear it in her voice that she was hurt that you never told her of your relationship.

"She's the reason that he's been refusing to get his dark mark; avoiding it at all costs, even." she goes on, ignoring Hermione's remark. "Y/N here must suffer for what she's done. And you all must watch."

Fear immediately illuminated in your eyes, but before you could protest, you were being hit with the Cruciatus curse. You wailed out in pain as your body filled with sparks of pain. Screams from the Golden Trio could slightly be heard over your own as they tried to save you, but were being held back by Death Eaters none of you had even noticed were there. 

This went on for a few more minutes, and at this point you were certain it wasn't going to end. That way until you heard the slapping of a hand and a wand falling to the ground. The pain suddenly stopped, but you still couldn't move from your position on the floor. 

Draco ran over to you and picked you up in his arms. He apparated you somewhere in the middle of the woods. 

You were just about to ask about Harry, Ron, and Hermione until you saw that they were already there, waiting for you. Somehow, Draco had managed to rescue all of your friends and get them to safety along with yourself. 

They all sat with you making sure you were okay. You assured them that, now, you were fine. Just as you thought that throughout all the commotion they had forgotten about the picture, Ron spoke up again.

"Malfoy-" He stopped himself, "Draco, told us about you guys and why he acted the way he did."

You looked away from them, assuming they were mad.

As if he were reading your mind, Harry spoke up too. "We're not mad Y/N. We just want to know why you didn't tell us."

Now, it was Hermione's turn to speak. "You know you can tell us anything, right?"

"I just," you started. "I knew how you guys felt toward Draco and I was afraid of how you'd react to it."

"I truly apologize for how I acted to you guys. I knew my family was after you three, and they last thin I wanted was to out Y/N in danger or put bigger targets on your backs either." Draco said stepping in to take some of pressure off of you.

"I know I should've told you sooner. I'm sorry, I was just scared."

"It's okay." Hermione said for the three of them. "We forgive you."

That sentence put a slight smile on your face.

Harry stood up and turned towards Draco, making you scared of his reaction. But to your surprise he just held out his hand. "I'm willing to put the past behind us for Y/N if you are, Draco."

Draco put his hand out to meet Harry's and shook it. "Thanks, Harry."

And with that, your "little secret" was out for good.
