Idiot (Jack Frost)

You were the guardian of love. People usually associate you as cupid.

You're not him. He's a myth you created so those of the people who do believe don't see you since they technically believe in him, not you. He's based off of the Greek mythology character Eros. You loved Greek mythology when you were living.

You actually enjoy shooting people with arrows and seeing them go running into their soulmate's arms. While you create love for all of eternity, you can never actually find it. It's kind of painful to see others fall in love when you can't yourself.

You do have a crush ,though.

Jack Frost.

Jack's your best friend. Has been ever since you became a guardian, you only a few days after him. He was the one to help ease you into it and figure out what to do for eternity. You've liked him ever since. Jack doesn't seem to like you back, though. He's pretty obsessed with this Jamie kid. They're apparently the only person who can see Jack. You don't know if Jamie is a boy or a girl, but all you need to know is that they're all Jack ever talks or thinks about.

It hurts to see Jack blabber on and on about someone else when you so clearly care for him. It was too much to take, until one day you just flew away from him mid sentence.

You flew away to the one place you always go when you're sad, your old house. Jack, being your best friend, knew this would be just the place to find you.

"Hey, why'd you just fly off like that?" He asked, sounding kind of hurt.

"I just needed space." You replied not daring to look him in the eye.

"Yeah. Cause the open world is perfect for alone time," He joked. Seeing that you didn't even smile at his joke, he turned all serious, "Okay really, what's wrong?"

"Nothing." You lied terribly.

"I know you better than that. C'mon you'd think I'd see through your lies after 300 years. What's really wrong?"

You looked him in the eye, and that did it for you. You couldn't hide it from him anymore."You Jack. It's you. You're always going on and on and on about some kid. And you're so caught up on the fact that only one person can see you, you think no one else cares. You're so drowned in it, you can never see that there is someone here who clearly cares about you."

He looked hurt. Then mad. He snapped back at you, "No one does. I thought you were the only person who actually cared, but apparently not. I finally found someone who really believed in me, and you can't even be happy for me. You have people who you make happy and they thank you for it. I have no one, so I'm sorry that I thought my so called best friend would be happy for me."

"Are you that blind. I care about you Jack. More than you could ever know. I've been with you through everything Jack. Who was there when everyone else pushed you off as 'just a kid'? Who was there when Pitch came after you? Who was there when everyone just dismissed you as a myth? Who was there when Jamie finally saw you? Huh, Jack. Guess who, Jack. Me." You were on the verge of losing it. Was he really this dense? "You know, I'd hoped that one day you'd see how I really feel, but now I see that you're too wrapped up in your own shit to realize that others around you have their own feelings."

"You don't understand-" Jack tried to speak, but you just turned away from him.

"No Jack, you don't understand. I've cared about you since the moment I met you, and all you can think to do is complain about how little kids don't believe in the big and great Jack Frost. Keep Jamie and go build the rest of your little entourage, but know that you just lost the only person who ever really cared."

"Y/N wait-" He was trying to get you attention again, but you just ignored him.

"Now I know why everyone pushes you off. You really are an idiot." That was the last thing you said before flying off. Away from him

Now, Jack stood there. Sad and regretting how he ruined his only chance with the only person he actually cared about since his death.
